The perfect hotel!

Our family loved this hotel - the only disappointing thing was the brevity of our stay. The kiddo-friendly details, the sustainable choices, and the friendly staff took this hotel to a whole other level. We’ll be back!

I arrived @ 3pm because i wanted a room facing the street. But Nicole refused and gave me a room facing an adjacent building even though there were at least four rooms of the type i was booked to stay in. The room was very clean but the bathroom sink was less than half the normal size.

This hotel was great! The location is perfect to walk around the city and the hotel was clean with kind staff. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. This is a fantastic place to stay on your trip to Lisbon.

A lovely stay in a great location - the room was really lovely. My only reason for marking it down was the bed and pillows weren’t super comfy therefore I found it difficult to sleep.

Wonderful location to explore the city and close to the Time Out Market and lots of other lovely restaurants. The breakfast was really good, a choice of specials and coffee, along with a continental buffet. The room was ok, we were fortunate to be given an upgrade which was nice, it had quite a small bathroom and a bed that you couldn’t walk around so might be tricky if you had mobility issues. It was quirky though, which we liked, so not a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again.

The penthouse is very cool for big groups. I wish I had known that I would have the entire floor and planned for it especially bc we had a group of 10 staying at the property. The view was spectacular for the fireworks on NYE. However, the property can use a bit of updating. Considering we paid $880 USD including taxes for one night, 3 rooms at this property, not sure if it was worth it.

The staff are five stars. The rooms are a bit small but everything is clean. Great location. Loved being able to enjoy breakfast downstairs in the morning. We left my husband’s wallet and medicine in the room and headed to Barcelona. Everyone we spoke with was wonderful. They expedited the items to us which was amazing because without those medications we would have had to skip our cruise. Everything was returned to us. They are honest and were extremely kind. We will return to this hotel ( and will book a larger room!) So grateful.

Best breakfast we have had at a hotel

The staff and breakfast are amazing Ana and others were very helpful The hotel is well situated not far from the train and metro as well as downtown sites The only unfortunate part was there is street noise at night from a bar where locals party to the wee hours of the morning I would still stay and bring ear plugs

Great little hotel in a great location. Rooms are small but very functional. It is on a busy road lined with bars and restaurants, so it is loud at night. We did not mind, as we went in November but might be something to keep in mind if you are visiting in the summer months. The hotel is opposite the funicular de Bica and we loved walking up to barrio alto every night for a little stroll. The metro is like 5 minutes away and you can walk to the center in like 10-15 minutes. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was great.

I recently stayed at Beca Hotel for a couple of nights with two other adults (wife and daughter), and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations and quick to respond to any requests we had. The food was also excellent, with a great variety of options for breakfast, and the quality was impressive. However, the one downside was the bunk bed in our triple room. It wasn’t very comfortable to climb up and down, especially for an adult. It felt a bit awkward and less convenient than a standard bed setup. If you’re booking a triple room and prefer not to use a bunk, it might be worth checking if other configurations are available. Aside from this, everything else was well-managed, and I’d still recommend Beca Hotel for its location, service and food, especially if the bunk bed isn’t a concern for your group.

The hotel is cute and clean, with excellent service. They have a great breakfast, though not enough seating. We had 3 rooms and one of the 3 smelled so bad that we came home with all our clothes smelling. They no longer do the mini bar but there is water and coffee in the rooms. The rooms are very modern and stylish but not functional. We had 3 drawers, one with a safe in it. There is no desk, bedside table or dresser to put anything on. Even our phones had to be plugged in to the headboard and set on the bed to charge. I ended up using a tiny step stool from the bathroom to have water by the bed at night.
