I want a refund. This places was terrible. There is no staff to help you in and find your room. My friend and I were let into the building by a guy with a key from the next door store and put in an elevator with no directions. The building was very dark and old. We were very scared during this experience and immediately booked a real hotel down the road.

Exactly what you would expect

Totally acceptable. The check in not being untill 4pm was a little annoying but it was properly advertised so I can't complain too much. The outside building doesn't leave much to admire, but the room was relatively clean, bed was pretty comfy and the AC worked great. Perfectly fine place to stay with a decent location and a great price. Would recommend overall.

Bare minimum

Our flight was delayed and we tried to communicate with the hotel several times with no response from them. I sent at least 3 differents messages 72hours before to ask questions and then to communicate our flight problems but no response. It added an unnecessary stress to our trip. Room was ok, but walls and terrace were a little bit dirty. We had access to a kitchen but it was the bare minimum. We searched for mug to have our coffee but there was none. Other guests took the only mug to their room but one mug for several rooms that are sharing one kitchen is obviously not enough... On the plus side : Cheap and next to Metro station.

For travellers on a budget just looking for a place to sleep, this is a great option if you don’t care about minor cosmetic defects (scuffed paint, older building etc). It was a clean room with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Not advised for travellers with mobility issues however as the elevator wasn’t always working. There is some noise heard from other units, but that is not unexpected in a hostel type of accommodation. My main concern was that the guesthouse was not reachable in advance to answer questions by phone or email, and did not open the front door when I buzzed. I had to get let into the building by another guest, but once I got into the building they were friendly and the check in was easy.

Clean and comfortable. Confusing check in.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was great to have access to kettle and microwave. There were cups, plates etc to use. The check in was confusing. No instructions sent on how to get in through the main door. Main door was locked. Reception on 3rd floor so they had no idea we were there trying to access the property. Got in because one of the tenants came out through the front door and let us in. Was a bit stressful

Not a very good experience. No amenities. No soap or shampoo. No glasses in room. AC did not work. No towel service and no garbage pickup.. 4 day stay. The room we had the shower would overflow! Area was noisy! Constant traffic. Sirens. Baby’s crying… doors banging. No lights in stairwells… very dangerous ! And the elevator was rickety! Avoid using for fear of getting stuck! Very negative unappealing stay.. do not recommend.. Avoid!

The door was open by 3 but the building is very uninviting, dingy small elevator that looks like it has never been washed. The room was ok but no frills not even a glass in the bathroom. There was a kitchen that we did not use other than for a glass and a spoon. The room was right beside the office so noise from there and lots of street noise. The day we arrived it was hot and our room was very hot that night for sleeping. They said they had called to have it fixed. A disappointing stay. The staff seemed friendly enough and did help get the tv going.

The room is not big but enough for sleeping and storage. The bathroom is clean and spacious which is good. There is a shared kitchen with minimal equipment so basic cooking can be done. Call the staff or arrive at the property after 12 because there is no one before that. The staff is friendly and nice. Close to supermarket and laundry. Acceptable choice for budget travellers.

Our room was clean good bed. Not much amenities. Good place to stay for a short period. The elevator is not very scary and dirty the kitchen we did not use it it’s common kitchen for all. Not recommended but if you need a place to stay for the night it ok.

Overpriced rooms

You get a “guest room” with bathroom and some kind of a shared kitchen. Its very overpriced. €25 more and you could stay at Holiday Inn. Problem with payment forced us to choose LX Center, just for a night.

The property was clean and even included a fridge and a safe. The building is a bit old and felt dodgy but it was all fine. It is in a decent location, around 15 minutes walk from Rossio and with good metro and tram connections (famous tram 28 early stop is 2 minutes away). Generally very pleased for the price.
