We booked this hotel because the close proximity to Universal Studios. We figured we would be able to walk to and from the resort, which you can, but it is not the best walking route along the busy highway. Our biggest concern was our kids were complaining of bug bites that they received in the night. When we got home, we had to take our daughter to InstaCare because she broke out in hives from all the bites, and the doctor confirmed that it was from bedbugs.

This property is old, outdated, and looks nothing like the pictures listed. When we walked in there was a strong Scentsy smell that was likely covering up the issues in the building. When we got to our rooms there was a horrible odor that smelled like mold or something rotten. We had to have the hotel worker come to the room and check it out. There was nothing they could do to correct the issue. There was sticky juice stains on the door, water issues in the bathrooms. We ended up checking out and going to stay at a Hilton hotel. We were not able to be refunded and two rooms cost us $522. It was a wash and we ended up losing that money and having to go to a new hotel and pay again.

Staff was incredibly friendly. The rest was subpar. Room were cleanish as far as clean sheets and bathroom. But there were rusted fixtures in the bathroom and bedroom, the hallways wreaked of marijuana (I’m asthmatic so this really affects me, plus my children), the door to the room was flimsy, and the road noise was extremely loud. I was excited for the kids to swim but the pool was essentially the size of two hot tubs and was not heated (as advertised). Pictures were a bit deceiving. I would not stay here again.

The pool was ridiculous small and looks so dirty. The shower knobs were switched hot was cold, also people in the middle of the night was people having a fight and you can heard everything. My advice don’t trust what the pictures shows. Overall to expensive, not worth it.

Parking was off the street, covered and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and well laid out. We were close to everything. Overall, this was an excellent stay. We would definitely book here again.

Overall dirty and unkept. No bathroom fan which would set off smoke detector, outlets not working, advertised pool was the size of a hot tub. Staff was fine, lobby was wet the entire time from people coming in from pool to elevator. No breakfast. I would highly recommend paying more and staying at another hotel in the area.

Nice staff, clean room, comfortable beds. Our room had a fridge, microwave and separate sink which is much appreciated. The offer water, juice , coffee and tea downstairs, but no breakfast. The only bummer is our room faced the busy streets so it was a bit loud. I recommend requesting a room away from that area.

It is great for a short stay. My kids enjoyed the pool. Complementary Coffee in the Lobby was great for me. I can go without breakfast, but not without coffee! There is no breakfast in the hotel itself, but there is a Starbucks right accroos the street and a breakfast place down the street.

You get what you pay for, parking was easy, room was a little dirty, they could do a better job cleaning but overall not terrible. Walking distance to Universal, we walked there and back, no issues.

We didn’t spend much time in our room so our stay at the Tilt was basically just a place to sleep and get ready. The room was clean and staff was great. The only thing that I didn’t care for was that the pool was too cold for us to get to use. Other than that all was pleasant.

Best hotel if you plan to universal studios, staffs are very nice and helpful, room is spacious, A/C is good enough for hot days, highly recommend to rent a car for your trip instead of using rideshare or taxi, too expensive in LA

It is very close to the park and there is a good pizzeria and a Starbucks actoss the street, that is amazing in the morning or at night after the park to grab something to eat. We thought on takd an Uber but it was not needed, it was a nice walk and we felt safe.
