I try to always stay here since it has the best access to the Lubbock Airport. This trip the a/c fan in the room had a rumble to it that made it hard to get to sleep for awhile. Overall, it’s a great property at a great price

Extremely Dirty Rooms

We were placed in TWO dirty rooms the first room had hair on the floor and dead bugs as well as large stains on the sheets and mattress. We were then moved to another room that had food on the floor along with hair and other objects in the bed. The rooms were gross!!

Solid C- rating for "value".

If you're looking for the average hotel stay, with little frills, and ok service, this is your hotel. Check in, front desk, and the amenities are standard fare but efficient. The staff courteous and welcoming. Internet access was decent, but only after finding out the hotel was only half full. Breakfast is lackluster "continental", although eggs and sausage are the hot items. Why the average rating? Because this was a Texas Tech graduation week, this gives them the excuse to double the per night rate. For that price, no, it's not "worth" the value you get. Everybody does it, so that makes it ok. Any other time of the year, expect to pay half the rate. If you're going to charge more, give more. Start with a better breakfast, maybe a mint on the pillow for that price.

The hotel is clean and well-managed. The management works for guest satisfaction. We had a group of young, noisy neighbors. Our phone wouldn't ring the front desk so I had to go down to complain in person. Manager on staff immediately took action and quieted the guests, but half hour later they were loud again. When I got the front desk on my cell phone, the manager immediately responded and tried to quiet the guests. They argued but did acquiesce. In a complaint-driven world, the management folks are exemplary. Rooms are well appointed, beds are comfy (only three pillows per double-occupancy bed, though- wierd Windham thing). COFFEE IS EXCELLENT and available 24 hours. They have a machine that brews as you draw-hold the button down and it brews fresh coffee. Great stuff! Hot breakfast but is standard fare for price-of-hotel, meh. There is a "public room" area adjacent to the open dining area for breakfast. This is a nice space for conversation with friends, other guests, etc...

Disappointed.

Well the fridge barely was cool. Not even cold. When they finally got maintenence to come look he told me that's just how it works. So my food or drinks weren't kept cold. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower were all empty. The shower was dirty. There was hair from who ever stayed here before me. When room service finally showed up. They just gave me empty trash bags and made me give them the trash. Also they just handed my daughter the replacement bottle for the shower. Didn't even offer to come in the room to clean up. The pool was dirty. There was hair every where. Very few towels to dry off with. The only good thing was that the staff at the front desk was friendly. I had to fix the sheets on the bed because they weren't all the way on. I was very unhappy with my stay.
