For the prices charged by the hotel, the rooms are tiny, the coffee machine is only one for the entire floor (placed near the elevator) and one entire day it didn't work, the air conditioning was weak (until we complained to the staff, then they did something to boost it), and the floors were dirty upon our arrival (with a big lump of hairs sitting right in front of the mini fridge!)... So, this property needs a lot of improvement or to slash prices by 50% (which I guess will not happen).

Great stay with our toddler!

We stayed here for one night as a family. They allowed us to drop off our luggage early in the morning, so we could go and explore the city. The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. Our only complaint is that we would have liked the room a bit cooler. Other than that, great location, great price, and great service!

Staff was lovely and attentive. Prime location. Comfortable room and bed. The condition of the room was a bit run down. They need to give housekeeping more time to clean the rooms and maintenance needs to do basic upkeep. I had problems with my shower drain; there was no body wash in the container when I arrived, the floor was so dirty that walking around in my socks I had long hair as well as a lot of dirt/dust/lint on them. The walls have a lot of marks on them (from dirty hands/feet) and other signs that the room was lacking in routine maintenance. For ex, the glass frame on the artwork in the room (which was very spare) was cracked and held together with scotch tape. The curtains too: servicable, but very worn out looking and very dusty, especially at the top. These routine things were kind of a bummer, because it was otherwise a very excellent hotel.

Being a smaller hotel, it was quiet. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Its within walking distance of the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Prado and other attractions. We walked everywhere, most locations being less than a mile from the front door. There are lots of food and shopping opportunities conveniently located nearby. We would stay here again

Photographs of rooms are misleading. We booked an economy room and had to pay to upgrade as the economy room was a box. I was expecting at least a window overlooking the street. They my have to be clearer about what the rooms look like and have the right photo explaining very clearly what to expect. Staff are great and very helpful and profesional.
