This a cheap airport hotel so its not for a romantic trip. I used it as a I had a morning flight after 3 days at a very smart hotel in the centre of Madrid. The hotel is Danish owned. The rooms are gloomy with heavy concrete pillars sprouting through the room but the shower pressure was good and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant but the fare is pretty poor for dinner and breakfast is not much better. It was however a good place to lay ones head over night before returning to the airport. Incidentally this hotel is not exactly close to the airport taking 15 minutes by cab. The shuttle must be pre booked if you are incoming or booked the night before ones departure. I read that the cost is 6 Euros and the departure time are not regular.

Room and amities are minimal. Room had one straight back chair and very minimalistic Front desk staff not friendly. Water in shower breached the water barrier. Not enough towels to manage the wet floors especially after showering. Elevators do not work properly. Restaurant food is mediocre. Coffee is weak. Service is not friendly or accommodating. Early check in was charged unknowingly at the time of reservation. Area around property is not visitor friendly - no retail or adequate restaurant choices available. We would not stay here again.

The room, while more spacious than expected, had a lack of table/counter space to place items, open up suitcases, or work on. The lighting was insufficient. The bed, contrary to the hotel's claims, was quite uncomfortable. The bathroom had a scent of H2S (hydrogen sulphide aka sewer gas) to the extent that we asked maintenance to check it out. The shower bathmat had to be moved a few feet away so that the shower door could be opened/closed. Front desk staff, while pleasant, were not too helpful in providing accurate information on getting to city centre by public transport. The room was hot, despite tinkering with the thermostat. The airport shuttle (which is NOT free) does not start until 5:30am, so anyone with a flight before 8am such as ourselves has to take a taxi or Uber. Main floor seating area by the lockers - the table was dirty and covered with old drink rims, etc. No reasonable plug access for devices.

The hotel charged a fee for using courtesy bus to airport. Other hotels do not. The soap and shampoo was difficult to use. Hotel is to into digital age and not willing to help customers who are not digital savvy.
