Very good,other than the bartender.

Resort was nice,room spacious and clean,our phone was not working,coffee was missing from room & price list for bar was missing. Our bartender was a bit snobby( forgot his name,sat,march 8)gave us a rude reply when we asked about not giving us a happy hour menu Our shrimp cocktail was spoiled total taste of Ammonia, we both tried one and left it ,thank goodness we didn't get sick.Iam sure it was a fluke cause everything else we saw looked good but the chef should have caught it.The bartenders attitude not the shrimp made us decide to dine elsewhere. Overall the resort was very nice and we would stay again.

When we checked in for our 2 Queen/sofabed room (I had messaged the hotel before arriving to make sure the room we had reserved was the one we would get) they put us in a King room. We were traveling with my 85 yo parents so everyone was exhausted so it was disappointing. When I went to the front desk to get it corrected, the front desk staff were irritated and not happy to get corrected. At that time I also asked about internet/breakfast/facilities because no information was provided and no book was in the room. I also confirmed that we had paid for included breakfast and asked where to go and how it was provided. Was told "just come here in the morning". We ended up being charged for breakfast for our whole stay - tried to get corrected at time of check out but were told they would have to talk to the manager - never got corrected. Beautiful hotel, great food but I would not recommend due to difficulty getting information and not getting amenities we paid for. Front desk staff were not helpful and the ones that were very friendly didn't know how to help. Unfortunate because the facilities are beautiful. There were also other restaurants on the property but we didn't know where they were or what was available to us.

The property was beautiful and quiet. Our room was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend! Finding the checkin office is not obvious if you are driving in. Drive through the arch. Checkin is by the water in the Lighthouse restaurant building!

Great property for family

The property was beautiful and the staff was lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable for parents and kids. Personally the bed and pillows were not extremely comfortable, both very soft and squishy. The property was expansive, well maintained with lots to do. Parking was simple and the lobby cafe and restaurant and pool side service were very good and convenient.

Great place for a mini getaway

Check in was a breeze, they served us chocolate martinis and cookies upon check in. The room is well appointed with nice furnishings. The pool and courtyard is very pretty. We did not use the pools but they were heated. You do have privileges at the hotel next door as well that do nightly bon fires which was neat. They also have a nice gym with most of the regular exercise stuff. The spa looked nice as well. Parking is $20 a night. I would stay here again. It is a bit pricy even at low season but it was newer and clean which is a plus in my books

Beautiful views, central location. It's being refurbished. However our room was not totally finished. Unfinished closet with no doorknob, TV needed repair, coffee maker needed replacement, sliding door to our bathroom was heavy and had no inside handle ( we both got stuck inside!), one elevator didn't work, and one night neither worked so we climbed 6 flights. The worst was they replaced tub with beautiful marble walk in shower, but left the old shower curtain that stopped a foot off the ground. No matter what, we flooded the bathroom every night and had to use one of only 3 small towels to mop it up. Yes, we told housekeeping, but nothing was done by the weeks end. I'm sure these bugs will get ironed out, but wonder why we were given an unfinished room.

Restaurant food was apparently served as an experiment and the guests were the test subjects. Restaurant Supervisor told me she was working with Hispanics employed on temporary visas that she is unable to communicate with because they do not speak English.

Faro Blanco resort was beautiful. The setting was lovely and relaxing Rooms were exceptional, beds very comfortable. The pools were warm and quiet surrounded by Palm trees and enough chairs and tables. There waa a bonfire at night on the grounds and a large chess set to play with in the parkland. What can I say about the restaurant? The chef prepared fabulous meals and took into account I was gluten free and I was always certain I had safe choices The vew from the restauant and bar looked over the yachts in the harbour so we had a lot to watch while we enjoyed our meals. I would definately stay here again
