Incredible Vacation Spot!!

This may be one of the best properties I have stayed in. The views are beautiful, and the location is private with access to the open water of the Gulf. The interior is gorgeous and open aired. If I have any critique at all it would be the lack of an outdoor shower and some sharper kitchen knives.

Amazing location and privacy

This rental was everything my family needed and more!! The fishing off the dock was fun both day and night. The sitting areas outside are nicely thought out. Paddle boards were a huge plus!! The iguanas and lizards were fun to watch!! Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were heavenly. Nice cotton bedding. The home is very loved and cared for as you can see the beautiful personal touches. It was the perfect vacation!! This one will definitely be on my come back list!!

Awesome vacation spot

This house was incredible! Fishing was awesome - our boys caught grouper, sharks, barracuda, all sorts of fish. We saw turtles when we snorkeled and kayaked. The sunset every evening was beautiful! I recommend keeping the hose nearby to rinse the sand off feet before getting in the pool, otherwise you’ll have a very sandy pool!

Amazing!!

Great views of the water, fishing was great all day, pool was nice and warm and big, beds were very comfortable, outdoor covered porch for eating was so nice

View of Gulf Paradise

Very nice home and spectacular setting. Very nicely furnished and equipped. Can't beat the setting, including the iguana on the property. Excellent hot tub. Pool should have had midweek cleanup with all the leaves and trash debris in the pool blowing in from the street from wind overturned trash cans. Constant problem. Nicest property in the neighborhood by far.

Family vacay

The house was perfect for my family of five! The view was breathtaking and the property was so convenient for boating, snorkeling, fishing, etc. I would definitely stay at this property again, we all loved it.

Beautiful place

Really lovely place, much as it appears in the pictures. We were able to fish, canoe and swim off the dock, and kids had a fantastic time. Marathon is one of the more relaxing places in the Keys, and we just loved it.

Paradise found at Plein Air Point

We've been vacationing on Marathon since 2017 and we found one of the best hidden gems on the island in Plein Air Point. The views are incredible, the pool cooled us down easily and made for great memories, the beds were comfortable, the downstairs outside ice maker kept our blender busy! The fishing rods, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes and corn-hole made for easy activities. We have already booked Plein Air Point for our 2024 summer vacation!

Best in Marathon

We loved the house. We enjoyed the pool area and also spent lot of time fishing. Also used the kayaks several times. The pool was bath warm. The fishing was spotty. We had several lines broken by large fish. Our best luck was at night using live shrimp and casting just a few feet from the dock. The manatee paid us a visit and that was great. We had a couple of minor issues in the house which were fixed by Vacasa very quickly. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing Vacation!

We really enjoyed this house and had an amazing Florida vacation while staying here. The outdoor area is one of the best and most of our time was spent outside soaking up the sun and in the pool. The house amenities were as described and we were all comfortable during our stay. We hope to return to this house again soon!

The Plein Air Point is amazing! Have gorgeous view & was very clean

Communication with management was great. They were constantly checking in with us. Despite the hurricane Ian we still manage to have wonderful time. Will stay there again hopefully next year.

Brilliant Views

My wife and I and our two teenagers stayed here for a week. The views are incredible from nearly every room. The pool and dock on the Gulf, along with the sea kayaks and paddle boards, make it just about perfect. The spa is fine but a little outdated - not many jets, and they are not very strong, and the manual switchover at the pool pump is a little clumsy. But this did not in any way diminish our stay. The top floor primary suite is exceptional. The location is close to a lot of waterfront restaurants and other businesses like jet ski rentals and fishing. The property managers are fantastic! We had a few questions and unexpected issues during our trip and Vacasa was perfect in their communication. They could not have been more attentive. Would highly recommend this house. Great base to explore thr Keys.

Beautiful location and sunsets

We spent three weeks at Plein Air Point. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent again. The location is perfect and the view every morning from the master bedroom was stunning. We watched manatees, dolphins, rays and many fish in the bay. They kayaks and paddle boards were great and so was the pool. The bathrooms and bedrooms were up to date and nice but the living room, dining and kitchen furnishings were worn and dated. Overall this was a great place to rent and we were sorry to leave.

It was ok.

For the amount I paid I wasn’t overall happy with this home. When we arrived there was maggots everywhere on the bottom level of the home. The pool was extremely dirty when we arrived as well. I figured since check in wasn’t until 4 everything should have been spotless. There was not enough towels for everyone especially says it sleeps 8. The heater for the hot tub was broken. They came to get it fixed but then just gave up. Aside for those things, the home is beautiful, the neighbors were so sweet and we had a lot of fun
