I recently stayed at Hotel Galería Plaza Reforma and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is in an amazing location—safe, lively, and close to many great restaurants and attractions. The cleanliness was impressive, and the breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. However, the rooms could use some renovation, as the furnishings and decor felt a bit outdated. Still, a solid option if you’re looking for a well-located and clean hotel in Mexico City.

Hidden Gem!!

Great experience! The hotel was really amazing! They upgraded our package to VIP at no charge. This entailed an exclusive check-in/check-out experience, as well as, VIP break seating area. Downstairs in the hotel lobby, guest had access to a Starbuck and two in-hotel restaurants, both of which were fantastic. The concierge service was amazing and we used their transportation service to help us get around there city quite a bit, too. Roberto was our guide and gracious host for most our trip. The local neighborhood had many great restaurants and nightlife venues in easy walking distance. The room service had a fantastic variety of delicious options, which was wonderful after some of our long shopping days. Safety and security were paramount as there was an obvious police presence on almost every street corner. An abundance of private security was also apparent at many establishments.

The Hotels is located just two blocks away from the Iconic Angel. They have a great pool in the rooftop which has a great view and a beautiful mural. The pool is open from 8-8 and they also have a 24 hours gym in the last floor. It is a shame that the pool isn't warmer since it gets quite cold on that floor and the pool is beautiful. The room was spacious and clean, very modern and well decorated, The Hotel itself has a 5 star lobby with aromatherapy and nice background music. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful since we arrived until we left. We got an update in our reservation thanks to my level on Expedia which I truly appreciated from the Hotel and Expedia as well. The breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of options, fresh fruit, delicious pastries as well as juices and coffee. The area is very interesting, it is near many Korean stores and restaurants, but there are also Japanese, Hong Kong Style and of course local gastronomy. I saw a great couple of local bars with Karaoke and some blocks away there are two Malls with great variety of shops and restaurants. This hotel was booked on an emergency since we had an issue with our flight but was a gem that we will definitely visit again once we are back in México City.
