Best option for layover T2 at MEX

My flight was cancelled and I was easily able to book a room at the last minute. This was my 3rd stay during this particular trip. In my opinion, if you can afford it, it's the best option for a long layover at the airport in Mexico city.

I had called 1 day before to change my booking because my flight was going to come in at 5:45 am I advise that I wouldn’t be able to check in so rep decided to call Hotel he said everything was handled that they will let me check in with no problem got to the hotel reception said they could do it but they could check me in at 9am with an additional charge of $1400 pesos $80.00 DL advise I need to sleep I’m tired I explain everything they didn’t care when I check I 9am after a few hours in they had construction going on I could even sleep what a nightmare

The housekeeping and maintenance staff are absolutely the best! I stopped a member of the housekeeping staff in the hallway to ask for some assistance with the climate control in my room. Within 5 minutes there was a maintenance employee at my door with a heater for me. The lobby check in is a bit snobby. But overall everyone was professional and efficient. The facilities need some updating. One electrical outlet in my room wasn't fully attached to the wall and the minibar frig didn't really chill anything.

The person at reception (a guy) always doubted before resolving my requests (transport and extra lungo cofee pods), and at last he sent me the wrong coffee pods. However the shuttle driver and the room service server had the best and extremely polite attitude.
