No Pool

Book a hotel for August in Florida with a pool and the pool is closed! Has been for a month apparently. This is not stated anywhere. I would not chosen this hotel had I known. You also could not adjust the shower temperature. The tap was stuck. So all showers were on the uncomfortably hot side.

Breakfast was great, it said Continental, but it was really good, eggs and sausage. The shower pressure was horrible. The AC wasn’t real strong. I had to sleep in front of the fan Everything else was great.

The Floridian Hotel SAVED Our Vacation! After a nightmare experience at a so-called “resort” in Key Largo (where we literally ran for the hills), I was stressed, and running low on my vacation budget. I had already thrown away $300 on that awful room and sketchy resort on Key Largo- I just hoped to find somewhere clean and safe for our last night. Enter The Floridian Hotel—a total blessing. I honestly wish I had skipped Key Largo altogether and just came here first! The Floridian is an older property, but it’s very well maintained. Our room was CLEAN, comforting, and had a warm, inviting feel. Every staff member we spoke to was kind, professional, and helpful. It felt like they actually cared that we had a good experience, something that was an afterthought at the first hotel we checked into that night. Most of all, I felt extremely safe! There was a security guard walking the grounds until super late! I never once felt afraid like the first property in Key Largo. And let me just say… the breakfast shocked me. I’m talking real scrambled eggs: fluffy, hot, and absolutely delicious! I’ve never had a hotel breakfast that good in my life. It honestly felt like a little piece of home after a rough day. From now on, whenever I fly out of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, The Floridian is my go-to. No question. It turned a stressful ending into a peaceful and happy one. 5 stars all the way!

Loved that there were places walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was very clean, house keeping was done daily, the staff were also kind and courteous, breakfast was also good. The only downside was the pool not being open.

SKIP THIS PLACE..

CHECK IN WAS TERRIBLE. HE ACTED LIKE HE WAS DOING ME A FAVOR CHECKING ME IN. DIDNT EVEN KNOW IF THE ROOM HAD A BATHROOM. THIS PLACE CLOSED THE POOL OVER THE 4TH OF JULY WITH NO WARNING. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. MANAGEMENT WHO RUNS THIS PLACE ARE UNFRIENDLY AND DONT APPRECIATE THEIR OWN GUESTS. YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE WHO PAY YOUR BILLS. SKIP THIS PLACE 🌴
