The room felt neglected! I would not have paid what I paid, had it not been for the location, but if you want a nice hotel room, this is not it! Nice customer service, though! Property neglected, dirty windows, the room was ok, but neglected, only one plug for the whole room.

Location very good. Room clean. bed comfortable. staff let you feel welcomed. But the elevator was down for half the days we stayed which is difficult for nearly 90years old seniors in my group. Front desk did offer a room on first floor but we didn’t take because we wanted to stay together to help them. Valet parking is not convenient because the road at the door front is closed during holiday hours. When the road is open it will be convenient.

My friend and I checked in to the Penguin Hotel for a one night trip. Upon checking in we headed to the room to shower and get ready to go out. While taking a shower, the water shut off and was not turned back on for an hour and my friend had soap in her hair! When checking with the hotel front desk they said “No one let you know the water would be shut off?” We had checked in only less than an hour prior. We were not warned. This did end up wasting a lot of time for our one day trip. The room otherwise was clean, fairly dated.
