From the moment we checked in we were treated poorly. The check-in attendant just handed us the room cards and told us to take the elevator down. They said nothing about parking (hotel has special rates), how to check out, nothing. We were barely acknowledged. The room was disgusting! I took pictures that I will be emailing to Travelocity. The windows were not cleaned, dust on the window sill 1/2 inch thick. Toilet paper was half gone, the bathroom had blood splatter on the tile near the edge of the door. I tried to contact hotel staff to alert them to the filthy room and received no response. Every staff member I came into contact with wouldn’t even look up and say, “hi.” The hotel is run down and staff seem to be miserable. I’ve never written a bad review for a hotel before. People need to warned about this place!

Fun property with interesting decor. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The light switches in our room were rather confusing, but we eventually figured it out. Appreciated the filtered water bottle filling station.

My room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean when I arrived. Staff were very friendly as well. Parking is a little bit of a hassle, but I don't think that's the hotel's fault. If you don't have a car, there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would stay here again

Great views and comfort on the top floor

We stayed in a suite on the 6th floor and it was gorgeous, clean and extremely comfortable with a lovely sitting room adjacent to the bedroom. We had beautiful views and pretty windows. Loved our stay!

Great room in a unique boutique hotel with a fascinating history. Breakfast was nothing special but a notch above average. Room had a couple minor issues with shower door. The handles were loose and the glass had moved slightly in the top hinge, preventing the for from closing completely. Both of these could be fixed with simple tools (Phillips screwdriver and a hex wrench). Hotel needs to pay attention to these details to maintain a reputation as a top notch facility.

fun option downtown

Charming building and pleasant rooms. The bed was on the soft side but comfortable with good pillows. Breakfast had fresh scrambled eggs and a pretty typical buffet. One catch; our room had.no shades and caught s lot of streetlights, so maybe be prepared to cover a window if you're sensitive.

First time at Celeste

First visit and it will not be the last. Cool, renovated historic property. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and good breakfast included with the room. Good location with reasonable parking options and access to public transit (light rail). Popular bar in the building as well.

We stayed in a garden level. Lots of character and charm. The AC made the room feel wet/damp which was uncomfortable. Windows were filthy and cibwebs were in our room.
