Dear Expedia, My name is Nicole Downey. My son and I stayed for one night at this hotel on August 16th to the 17th. We had several issues with our stay—one room had visible mold on the vents and the other room we were moved to smelled of cigarettes (I believe the guest next to us was smoking in their room). I informed the staff present in the evening about my son’s medical concerns and safety and the issues with us staying in these rooms. Alicia Jones, the night auditor, also read the letter from my son’s pediatrician. I have attached that letter as well. Needless to say, this was not a good experience for us at all. We checked out as early as 5am and only got about 4 - 4.5 hours of sleep through the night. Please respond to my concerns. Sincerely, Nicole Downey

Let people know if you are cleaning their room or not. The sign on the door said no thank you to having the room cleaned. so I did not put the sign out and thought being gone all day they would clean our room. We were gone 10:15 am til 8:45 pm and came back to no clean towels, and room not cleaned.

Worst Hilton ever

We are really disappointed by your hotel. The service for check in was not dedicated to us and she preferred talk with her colleagues. No smile. When we arrived in our room it smelled humidity. The mattress is finished. The room are dark, no life and outdated. We were not aware by the front desk at the check in that the breakfast finish at 9AM. All other Hilton it is at 10AM. So we paid our breakfast for nothing. The worst Hilton hotel. I will claim at Hilton Head Office.

Hotel was fine. I've stayed here before, but they've added a $15 fee for parking and breakfast is no longer included, I think around $10 per person. Once those costs are added in I know there are similar hotels that may initially seem a bit more expensive but are actually more reasonable.

It was fine and a decent place to stay, but super disappointed they don't have coffee for guests, at least in the morning. We stayed at another Hilton during the rest of our trip and they had coffee each morning! That is a pretty basic thing for hotels to provide so it was a bit disappointing at this location.

The customer service was excellent from the moment we walked in. The front desk representatives were very attentive and friendly, the shuttle drivers were both great and the dining staff were helpful, and had our food out fast.(The food is delicious.) The beds were comfortable,(pillows were amazing) and the rooms were very clean. Overall, we had no complaints and we would highly recommend this hotel.

MOHSEN

Room number 532 on the fifth floor of the hotel has a cockroach in the bathroom that makes a whistling sound starting around 10 or 11 p.m. I reported it to the front desk as soon as I arrived on August 8, but they said there was no room service available at that time. On the morning of August 9, the sound disappeared, but it returned at night. I have a video recording of the sound. It is very disappointing to pay this amount of money and have to deal with such noise.

Not so satisfied.

The booking of the stay was very helpful. I booked the wrong dates, and someone was very helpful with changing the dates. Overall the hotel needed a lot of work. One elevator was shut down, and the other 2 were very noisy, old and slow. When we left to leave, we opted to take the stairs from the 5th floor down because it was too slow. The room was clean and beds comfortable, but there was no option to regulate the temperature. The thermostat was on the wall, but didn't allow for any changes of temperature. My family of 4 were hot throughout the night while sleeping.
