The property needs a face lift it’s very deteriorated. Especially the rooms look like it’s been a while since they got a deep cleaning. We did appreciate a sweet delivery from staff since it was our anniversary.

Overall the hotel was good. The USB outlets in our room were broken and the outlets next to the bed were loose which limited our charging capabilities. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok, we skipped it the 2nd day due to limited options. The grounds were quiet and well kept and the location was convenient to drive anywhere in Monterey.

We had a great stay here. Each of the staff we encountered were so friendly and welcoming. Those who worked breakfast worked so hard in making sure things were refilled in a timely manner. Everyone had a smile. The room and building was clean. Comfortable beds and bedding. The heated pool was a bonus with the kids.

staffs were polite. We love the heated pool and the breakfast. The only thing that we don't like is there's a footprint on the bedsheet. Other than that, overall, the room was clean. The Hotel is old, need some maintenance.
