I’m not sure what VIP access entailed for this property. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. However, I had to keep requesting for face cloths and bottled water which was usually given to me one at a time. The rooms itself was not very clean. Lots of dust and hair bordering the room. Perhaps white tile is a poor choice given the state of cleanliness. I was told that the room would be cleaned after one day, however I had to request a cleaning on day four. Again, the staff were super helpful, but I had to ask for anything that I needed.

Very nice property. Picked from the ratings in Expedia. Came into town to bring my son to the UFC event. The young man at the front desk was extremely helpful. We contacted him more than a few times and came up and helped us with a smile. Breakfast was extremely tasty and fresh. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. My wife usually brings her own cleaning supplies but was not needed. Wish I had a few more days to stay. Would stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality!

It was overall a 4/10 experience. We stayed for 2 days but our rooms were not cleaned for whole 2 days also the lady at the receptionist refused us to provide water bottles and stated the hotel doesn’t provide water bottles. But on the similar day at night the guy at the receptionist provided us with water bottles when we requested. Overall customer service was pathetic

This was a great find. Easy walk to shopping in St. Catherine and dining on Crescent. The lobby connects to a restaurant with music on Thursdat nights. It was a short Uber ride to Old Montreal. The junior suite with 2 queen beds was spacious and comfortable, although the shower with a view into the room was a bit odd.

The design is very unique, bed is comfy (but came in seeing stain on the sheet…) Also, this hotel is located in a very noisy area, I could hear car/motor cycles/music all night specially on the weekend (I stayed at the top floor). Also could hear guest talking or walking by everytime. The worst is the shower, water pressure is way too low, just like a coffee machine dripping.. took forever to shower.. Staff are nice tho..

Mixed feelings about Chez Swann. First the room. I booked a suite and it was spectacular. Huge. whimsically decorated, fun, romantic and functional. Love the bathrobes and individual toiletries Next the location : just as great. You’re in the heart of downtown. Amazing. On the downside, building upkeep is not the best, they could provide more amenities such as bottled water, a kettle etc. But the worst was the breakfast which was included. Very very low end except for the French breakfast pastries that were awesome. The rest was toast, cereal, fruit cups, yogurt. Bare minimum. No effort. So disappointing come soldering how much care and attention went into designing the rooms Will probably return for the location and the suite. But would rather go to McD for breakfast

We love the rooms at Chez Swann! While this location lacks the amenities of other hotels in its category, it makes up for that in comfort and style. Unique furnishings & fixtures, and location are pluses for us. Only downside is the breakfast. Their website indicates a Continental breakfast with French pastries; you expext French pastries at a classy boutique hotel to be high quality. These were not that. I know what they say about expectations, but in all honesty making arrangments for a local bakey to deliver quality Quebec style bakery products could easily be absorbed by the repeat bookings that would garner. Its silly, but factul, when you offer something "free" people will judge that offering most harshly. Swann I promise you, fresh proper croissants and bagles would be a small investment that garners you big rewards.
