The room we were initially given was filled with big black boxes full of electronics, and plastic and cardboard boxes. We went to the service desk to ask for a different room and they offered one, without an explanation or offer of services. We went downstairs later on to ask for compensation for the mishap. We specifically asked for two drink tickets, which they gave. We wish it had been offered in the moment without asking, however. The amenities were great for the one night stay. The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel. The service staff were quite nice. However, given the high prices, the quality and value of food was not adequate. I would not recommend the restaurant. Find a different place in the area, of which there are plenty.

The hotel itself was beautiful and in close proximity to the Bell Centre - the main reason for my visit to Montreal. I would definitely return; however, I would love to see an improvement on the grounds and alleys outside the hotel. Everything was so dirty and it was sad to see birds scrounging from garbage that was thrown on the ground from the attached Starbucks.
