The view was nice . Hotel offers alot of amenities. The staff lazing around on hotel lobby sofa on phones and chit chatting was a turn off. The bell service was a joke !!!! And the bell men checking outmy daughters 19 year old ass was down right obvious and unprofessional .

RED FLAGS

The room was outdated and nothing like pictured on internet. The room was not cleaned properly and linen needed to be changed. The beds were very low to the floor and not accessible for individuals that are disabled. I did find out from front desk that the rooms are owned by different individuals and they very in looks, if this is so Sands Ocean is showing false advertising with pictures of the room being rented. I can honestly say that I want stay at this hotel again due to condition of room, the unfriendly staff at check in, and that they didn't offer any convenience to my inconveniences. If I had to rate this hotel there would be some DHEC RED FLAGS. This hotel needs to be updated to current date.

Great property. Friendly staff. Squeaky beds. Stiff pillows. Ac kept shutting off. Paid for ocean front view got view of rooftop and ocean barely visible. Kids screaming at all hours of the night. No pet policy but people had pets in rooms and in hallways.

The ONLY complaint I have was the Mattress in the Master bedroom was awful, the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced. We loved EVERYTHING else about our room , the property, we are at the restaurant on the property a couple times, food was delicious and very reasonable

I love the place and have been staying there for many years...The last couple of stays we have had to ask for a new room as the ones they gave us were in terrible shape..I realize the units have private owners but some are much worse than others...
