There is nothing to like there. This is a 2 star hotel. The rooms are small comparing to other Marriot Hotels, stinky. The place need a full renovation.

Not a slam dunk at this Courtyard hotel

By first appearances as you walk into the lobby, you would naturally expect a similar quality in the rooms. My tub appeared to be re-coated ... badly. It looked dingy though i expect clean. With scouring powder residue. The tap leaked all over the counter and needed to be wrapped with a towel to absorb the water. The carpeting on my floor and particularly the area in front of the elevators was, frankly - filthy. I got better amenities in the modest Choice Hotel I stayed in the night before. At this Courtyard, the give you a small hollow hand soap and a make up removal wipe. And that's it. The best i can say at this point as I'm still here as I write this, is that the bed feels very comfortable.

The administrative group should conduct a walk-through of this location. Considering the volume of traffic and the anticipated business/revenue, a significant renovation appears to be warranted. The kitchen staff should consistently prepare dishes according to the menu. If I order the kale chicken flatbread, I expect that specific item. Should a substitution be necessary, it would be appreciated if a discussion could occur with me beforehand. I would prefer not to be surprised by an unexpected alteration to my order.

The hotel advertises having a pool and hot tub. It doesn’t. We chose this hotel for that. The hotel is not very clean. Restaurant staff were mostly rude. A few nice ones. Front desk staff were the best part of the trip. They were friendly and accommodating. The bed as awful and the traffic outside was loud all night. Hotel not updated or overly clean.

The property was in a good location for our trip. We were able to check in a little early which was very helpful. We loved being able to walk to the Mattituck Museum. The room was fine. We found the bed to be on the hard side, which would have been okay 30 years ago when we were not afflicted with back and joint issues. The AC unit was very noisy and despite being on the ninth floor there was a lot of noise from cars with loud mufflers until very late at night. We decided to eat at the Bistro in the hotel and waited a very long time for a staff member to appear and take our order. We had started to walk away when someone did show up. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely once there.
