Decent Hotel with a Location Problem

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel was not bad however the surrounding area makes the whole place seem shifty. There were many transient people hanging around at all hours of the night just outside. I fairly sure a few "working girls" were picked up in the morning from a long night out. There was also a heavy police presence for a few hours as I believe something happened with a vehicle stored at their parking garage (which is completely insecure) and has stairwells that smell like urinals. Hotel is fine, the area is suspect.

Highly rated staff!!

The best part of the stay was the staff during check in and check out. Both women (sorry I did not get their names) were so lovely and helpful, truly a joy to interact with!! Our room was fine with the exception of the heating/cooling system which ran very loudly off and on all night long! The receptionist at the desk at check out said she would have it fixed for the next guest (and refunded our parking fee as a courtesy). Again, an appreciated gesture!

It was a nice enough building but our bathroom toilet hissed randomly and there was missing tile off the wall. Also I didn’t realize I would be charged for the parking garage on the property and the breakfast was not complimentary
