The bed sheet weren’t that great I seen a lot of weird stuff such as dust, hair, same with the bathroom everything need to be up to date over all thankful it ain’t have bed bug and grateful had somewhere to stay but not worry it for its price, the elevator sound scary at that 😭 no microwave or fridge in room

Everything was as expected. Very clean, good room turnover, very friendly staff. Nice room. Slightly spartan, but furniture is fine, mattress very good.

The BKLYN House was a good hotel. I would return. rooms are small, but it has essentially what you need. I cant complain. and the price was decent.

The staff were very nice, but everything else deserves an absolute zero. I have never stayed in a hotel with such terrible soundproofing. People were making noise and slamming doors until 4 a.m. — even conversations inside other rooms were completely audible. The cleanliness was ～average, and there were no toothbrushes or hairdryers provided. However, I can understand this given the price range, especially since most nearby hotels were fully booked at the time.

Staff started to check me in and then another member of the staff started talking to him, he decided they were more important, fine, but after a while I no longer wanted to wait since i was in the middle of being helped. The room was extremely basic- no hairdryer, Kleenex, bedding was thin- no comforters. The phone in the room didn’t work at all which was a safety concern. It felt like a hostel for 20 year olds and we had our child with us. The worst was the constant use of marijuana by other guests in their room. We had to line the bottom of the doors with towels to try to keep the smoke out. I had to call on my cell down (as the phone didn’t work) and ask someone to come and ask them to stop. It never did. But from check in to check out, there was always a smell of weed. Within 5 mins of check in, we were trying to get a refund but were unable or we would have absolutely went elsewhere. Baha at the front desk was very nice however. But I believe a more accurate listing for this would be a youth hostel.
