Small but well-designed and cute. The kitchenette was hugely useful. Location is fantastic — you could dine at cool places for two weeks within a two-block radius! There is some New York- style street noise, but with the blackout shades down and the A/C running, we slept like babies in the very comfortable bed.

Loved this property. Housekeeping excellent. Great communication before hand about check in as it does not have a front desk. Easy to leave luggage on arrival and departure. Staff at sister hotel super lovely. We chose this property for the kitchen. Was easy to make our own meals.

Great location, comfortable stay

Really enjoyed our stay here! Simple and small (like most rooms in NY) but had everything we needed and was in an amazing location. Bed might be a bit tight for two people but it’s comfy. The little kitchenette is a nice touch. Surprisingly super quiet for being right in the middle of the East Village as well. It’s a walk up with no elevator but if you don’t mind that, it’s a great place to be.

Liked the location. Very few hotels in the East Village. Small but had everything we needed. Didn't like: I reported a broken hinge on the cabinet door under the kitchenette sink minutes after checking in for a 5 night stay. The door would fall off when we attempted to open it. It also kept the adjacent refrigerator door from closing properly and it would pop open spontaneously when we were gone for the day. The person we contacted said parts had to be ordered to fix the problem. It only needed 2 small screws but was never fixed during our stay. Housekeeping entered our room when we had posted Do Not Disturb sign.

I'll stay here again but I hope they've upgraded the bath towels, fixed the toilet and made the TV more than just a wall ornament. And, no, we didn't need the earplugs. Overall, a great deal for a hotel in East Village.

The experience was good for this price. The room is clean and has a kitchen. It is close to buses (M8), stores and restaurants. The cleaning ladies were nice and helpful. You have to finish online precheck in to get in, there is no front desk. The small lobby was hot, seems air conditioner was off. The room was noisy, from both air conditioner and the outside, however they provided earplugs which are helpful to me. The front door seems not always locked even it was late, which made us feel not that safe. The hotel has no elevators, could be hard if you get a high floor and have a big luggage.

Everything about it was wonderful! Staff was communicative and always available. Only complaint is I wish it had an elevator. But otherwise, it was totally worth it, and I would absolutely stay again!
