Hello,
I’m writing to share my disappointment with my recent stay. While the hotel itself is beautiful and the housekeeping staff were absolutely wonderful, several issues made our experience extremely frustrating.
There was loud construction directly outside our window, which made it nearly impossible to sleep. After a long flight, we were exhausted and desperately needed rest. This level of noise was extremely disruptive and not something we were warned about in advance.
When we contacted the front desk to request extra blankets, the receptionist was not helpful or kind and simply told us there were no blankets available, without offering any alternative or assistance. Additionally, the staff member helping with our luggage seemed visibly bothered when we asked questions about our bags, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
We also tried calling the front desk multiple times with no answer. When someone finally did pick up, it sounded as though the phone was answered and immediately hung up, which was very upsetting.
We were charged $255 at check-in and refunded only $138. Given the noise, lack of rest, and poor service we experienced, I do not feel this was fair for a stay we genuinely did not enjoy.
Again, the property itself and the housekeeping ladies were excellent, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope you will consider offering a complimentary future stay or appropriate compensation to make up for this experience.
