Chose this property for its high Expedia rating. Booked a promo through Expedia where I was to receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine during check-in. Was told at check-in that it would be in the room, it was not. I was told to contact the concierge, and after several attempts at visiting the desk and calling on the phone I gave up. Clean, comfortable room for NYC. But despite seeing no other guests on the floor I got a room with a poor view on the backside of the elevator shaft. The lobby area is under construction and the lobby elevator broke during our stay requiring fire department to extrication of other guests. Stayed at the W last year, and Hilton the year before, these are better options.

Th location was excellent and easy to walk to many places. Lobby is small but it made it easier to get to the room fast. I had to change 2 elevators every time though. On the last night, the people in the room next door were extremely loud. Even though they were talking, it was loud as the walls are thin.

The property is in the heart of the theater district so most of the shows are walking distance. The property is not too large and the rooms are very nice.

The pics on the site are nothng like the actual Hotel. They evidently are remodeling but don't have that info on the site and no restaurant or appealing bar...very dissapointed in the overall hotel. I can say management was super nice about it and understood our dissapoinment and did their best to make it up to us!
