The hotel is nice and pleasant, the rooms are good and clean, and they are cleaned every day. I liked it quite a bit, but their elevator system is terrible. There are long lines to get on the elevator, and if too many people get in, it doesn't work and can even get stuck, which we witnessed happening. As constructive criticism, I think they should improve that, as well as the fact that you have to pay to eat breakfast at their restaurant.

I had a wonderful time, the room as clean. The only bad thing was the check in and long line! It took me about one hour to reach the counter. There should be a line for people with special needs.

Great location with subway station right outside the front entrance. If you stay here plan to have lots of patients. Be prepared to wait hours for check in. You can check your bag for a small feet and check in around midnight to skip the line. Also the wait for the elevators is also very frustrating. We ended up using stairs instead of waiting 10 min + every time.

Took 6 hours to get room and when did room so small for 4 people ask for upgrade said no. Room wasn’t clean right hair on restroom wall shower l, stains on sheets and housekeeper didn’t take trash out. Elevator move slow. Charge 35 per person attraction fee didn’t use any or credits and didn’t get refunded. Customer service at desk rude.

I realize that this is a busy time of year for the location and so in knowing this, the hotel should be better equipped to handle check ins for guests and having rooms available. I waited in line over two hours to check into the hotel, only to find out the room's weren't yet available. I then had to wait 8 hours to get a room - only to find out the room was still not available, so I was given another room, where the room key didn't work, to then have to get yet another room which was gross. There was what looked like a blood stain on the comforter, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, it was just overall gross. In addition to that, the elevators barely worked (only so many were in service) and you had to wait in a very long line each time you needed to ask the front desk any question - even a quick question like asking where the gift shop was. I've stayed at this hotel before and the experience was not like this in the past - over a similar time period. Overall, won't be coming back to this hotel again. Learned my lesson the hard way.

Our stay at the Sheraton New York Times Square was extremely disappointing and stressful, especially as we were traveling with children. We arrived late, expecting a smooth check-in, but our room was not ready. We ended up waiting until 1:30 a.m. before the hotel could finally provide us with two separate rooms because there were no rooms available with two beds, which we had reserved. As a family, we were forced to split up and sleep in two different rooms on different floors, which was very inconvenient and unacceptable, particularly with kids after a long day of travel. To make matters worse, the rooms were not properly cleaned. The sheets were dirty and had blood stains on them, and we have photos as proof. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and housekeeping standards.

Was crowded due to the holiday season. Expected better prepardeness from a name brand chain like Sheraton for the holiday rush. The staff was overwhelmed all the time and evidently ‘doing their job’. Guests were there on vacation. There should have been some empathy from the staff in their interactions. Supremely disappointing

We had a terrible experience during the check in time. We got to the hotel at noon, check in was not until 4 which is understandable. The hotel had a luggage room, which was not complementary we had to pay $6 per luggage. At 4 pm check in process started the line was extremely long and they only had 4 staff working on check in. Stood in line for 30 mins and did not move. Decided to go eat and come back to give time for the line to go down. We came back and still stood in line for almost 4 hours. By the time we checked in it was already 1:30 am. We lost a whole night of sleep because the hotel was understaff. Totally unacceptable, when we asked about the night we lost, because we checked in on the 2nd and not the first, the manager did not answer, just told the employee to print our portfolio and put it on her desk. We never received an answer from anyone at the hotel. All that ruin our whole intinerary, since we couldn’t rest the night before. It was incredible to be in a hotel as big as the Sheraton in the heart of NYC during a high season working with only 4 employees and by 10 pm there were only 2 staff doun check in. People that were able to check in early still were waiting around 10pm because there room were not clean and ready for them.
