Flight arrived early and was told no early check in, to come back at 4pm. The hitel does mot hold bags for free, had to pay $6/bag ($48 for 4 carry on and 4 backpacks). Came back at 4pm and waited 2.5hrs in a long ridiculous line to check in with 2 people at fron desk. Went to get out bags and they had moved it to another area. Finally get to our room and the toilet wasnt flushed and hair in the bath tub. I was not about to go bsck downstairs and wait in that line again to change roooms. Also no fan in the bathrooms and thin walls, could hear guests in the next room.

Disappointing experience overall. Check-in took nearly two hours, even as an elite member. The hotel was poorly cleaned, with noticeable cosmetic damage in both rooms. Our blinds did not work and were never repaired despite reporting the issue. Staff appeared overwhelmed, and the manager on duty was unhelpful and unwilling to engage with guests. This stay was not up to the standard or experience Marriott is known for.

When I first arrived my hotel room floor was dirty and it didn't look like the floor was vacuum. There was a piece of gum stuck to room wall from the previous tenet. The housekeeper did not bother to wipe it off. Found a sock behind the pillows of my bed. Bathroom is dirty. Counters and tables in my room were dusty and dirty. The entire hotel needs a renovation and cleaniness. Kind of hard when you have thousands of tourist going in and out each day. Maybe the need to hire more staff?

The worst hotel to stay in NYC.For the past 7 years we go for Christmas time to the manhattan area and stayed in mid size hotels all of them very good. On Jan 2,2026 we went yo do yhe check in but the room was not ready and we where told to come back later for room keys. So we did after paying $6 per bag for keeping them in the hotel. When we got there @4pm there was a line to check in of probably 100 people or more.So we went to get the keys as we wwee yold and the front desk manager told me that I needed to do the line. I said that I have already dis thw check in process signing, showing passports and being charged in my credit the hotel fees. The front desk manager was not helpful, disrespectful insinuating that I was lying about the ctedit card charge and he left the front desk area while I was still talking to him. Luckily the front desk attendant that received me earlier recognized me and gave me the room keys. Also there is no free internet, there is a charge of $16.95 per day. The room was ok but I was expecting more from Sheraton hotel. They need to train better the front desk manager that was there that day. He had no people skils whatsoever. Definitely not coming back and not recommending the hotel.

The hotel was poorly staffed. It took an hour to check in. There were roughly 100 people trying to check in and only 3 people working. It was like that every day in the lobby. The elevators were broken multiple days. We ended up taking 38 flights of stairs. On a positive note the housekeeper was very sweet and did clean our room every day.

Everyday we felt well taken care of and the first priority of each staff member we encountered. I can’t believe how many negative reviews I read that had to be false. Not a single elevator issue, staff member issue, room was great, bed was comfortable, room was attended to each day, and the staff even tucked in my daughter and her friends build a bear each day while attending to the room.

This hotel elevator don’t work. When is a rush time they have bunch elevators and they stacks and the service real poor I have to literally go up and down for 14 floors .

Well this is what happened so far. Check in started at 4 pm. I was in the hotel since 11 am. Waited pattienly but room was available at 10:30 pm. Full day lost. Room smell awufull asked for house keeping BUT no one was assigned to my aile. No one clean the room, so far 3 days no cleaning. I asked for towels in front desk, somebody leave towels in bathroom, other one leave towels in bed, no body pickup the dirty ones or trash. For 3th day in row, I notified the situation, no body showed. Notified about the stinky fridge, no body showed either. I have two other reservations, asked to change rooms, no availability but my son book one separatelly and there was one available for him. The elevators, other bad issues. For me this has been the worst lodging experience ever. We planned to stay longer but will move to The Manhattan Club. Sheraton administration sucks and no body seems to care.

1.) someone tried to enter our room at 2am. They even had a room key. Only the security latch prevented them entering. I asked management to check in on it. Never heard back from them. 2.) $40 charge upon check in? For what? Didn’t get a receipt for it. 3.) Hotel looks all good in photos but it’s a far cry from it. Quite run down, we could hear our neighbour snore. Messy, too much cluttery furniture in the room. I don’t think this hotel matches the corporate brand.

4th time at this property, location is the best. They are in the model of a revamping so super excited to see how it will look. Just needs a day bar for those not wanting to go out but have a drink in the hotel bar at lunchtime. Bar opens at 4.30 should open whe breakfast has finished .

I waited almost 2 hours in line to check in even though I had checked in earlier that day. She said she would call me when my room was ready. Never happened. Then the elevators were equally a nightmare to try to get on to go up or down. The whole stay was absurd. By the time you got an elevator to leave it was packed with people. I will never ever stay there again.
