This property used to be very nice, it’s getting old a bit rundown and the rooms weren’t the cleanest , especially the shower ( lots of other people’s hair) however, the rooms are spacious , the staff is friendly and professional. You can’t really beat the location , close enough to walk to most midtown amenities and far enough away from Times Square it’s not so loud .

Bathroom was dirty and we reported it. It still didn’t get clean. Hair on the walls and in tub. Door man was excellent. Booked us a car to get to airport. Wish I remembered his name. Gentlemen in the coffee bar that takes orders was excellent- but can there be more than one register? That was insanity! 20 plus people in line every morning.

Best location ever. It was convenient to get to Central Park, Times Square, and the 5th Avenue shopping area. We liked going down to Midtown for Koreatown, and the subway station is right on the corner, which made it easy to get around door to door and avoid traffic during the busiest season. The room is old and needs updating, but the hot water was hot and the bed was comfortable. Daily housekeeping was detailed and very good.

We visited the front desk twice — once at 3:00 pm and again at 5:45 pm — but our room still wasn’t ready until 6:15 pm, over two hours past standard check-in, with no notice. We waited 30+ minutes in a chaotic lobby and couldn’t speak with a manager. My husband was even asked to go check if the room had been cleaned. For a two-night stay, this wasted significant time. The only compensation offered was water coupons (which they give to everyone) and a small points credit, which did not meaningfully address the inconvenience.

The elevators were horrific! Waited around 10-15 minutes each way. Some people would take the service elevator. The bed was comfortable. We were left a half used shampoo and 1 conditioner. No body wash or wash cloths in the room. The drinks in the restaurant were good. Cathy and Caroline at the restaurant were wonderful!

Two main issues. Elevators not working properly forcing us to use the service elevators multiple times to the 37th floor. Second, water temperature for morning showers was like warm to downright cold. I am not one to complain but I expected better from Bonvoy.
