Arrived at 1900 hrs and room wasn’t ready. Waited about 5 minutes and it was ready. The hotel only has 1 working elevator and from what I understood the other 2 elevators have been out of service for some time. Takes awhile to get up or come down. The only working elevator only holds 7 people. Overall nice property but not what I would expect from Sheraton.

After seeing negative reviews I was worried about my stay. However, I had a great stay. My room was nice, the bed was big and the bathroom fine. Ok it was a little worn but not like I saw in the reviews. The hotel is a little tired but didn’t bother me. I was on the 45th floor and had a great view. The hotel is walkable to the Empire State Building, 5th avenue and Central Park. All the big bus tours stop nearby too. I stored my luggage there for 1 day which cost me $6. All in all I had a great stay. The only thing was the deposit they tried to take from me, I’d paid for the hotel and fees so I didn’t understand why they wanted to hold $150 given there was no mini bar in the room. But apart from that a great stay and the best thing about this hotel was the location and the lovely bed. There was no line when i checked in but a line when i checked out. So I just dropped the keys in the box.

I arrived at hotel at about 10pm. Waited in line 30 minutes to get to counter. Staff acknowledged that I had a reservation for a room with two beds, but said none were available. They said my room was still being cleaned. Finally got into room at almost 1 am. The room was ok, but neither the shower nor the sink drained properly. I took showers standing in ankle deep water. The line for Starbucks in lobby was ridiculous with only one register working (for the entire stay).

One of the rooms had a leak in the ceiling and there was mold in ceiling. 3425. Our tv wasn’t working right and elevators didn’t all seem to be working. Great location. Could use more sitting area on first floor. Resort fee was confusing.

Upon arrival they charged us to hold our bags before our room was ready. When our rooms were ready they were still dirty. They had to come back and clean our rooms again. Also room lock was not working only latch was. Two females stying in one room did not feel safe at all.

Love Sheraton hotels. Beds are very comfortable, front desk staff are knowledgeable and professional. The Sheraton in Time Square is grand, love the location and the comfortable bed best. The only thing it lacks is room service.

The hotel mgr/lead was rude to waiter Frank. The problem I had is you have waiter but no bus boys to clean tables. The waiters were all men from the 2 days I went into the Hudson Market to eat the buffet which is pricey for the basic food that is served at a complimentary breakfast hotel. Anyways, the lead/mgr could’ve helped but instead she rushing Frank who is providing excellent customer service. I think customer should pay upfront since you get $35 a day. The receipt should deduct $35 and the difference will be charged to the card on file. The elevator were shaky and they added too many guest a few times where the door couldn’t close. There’s no microwave or refrigerator but you can purchase for $25. There were no signs to get ice. Kept killing flies in the room. When u sit at the table by the window with no view who can hear people talking like they are outside your window. I stay at different hotels in Time Square and this is the first but I’ll book again to see if anything has improved. I give any hotel 3 strikes.
