Ridiculous check in process, waited over 2+ hrs, line wrapped around lobby 3x. Makes for a bad start and cuts into vacation time. The elevators are quite slow, delays of 15+ minutes in lobby and room floors. To remain competitive, these issues are critical and need to be rectified.

Great location—central, convenient, and felt very safe. Easy access to Times Square, public transportation, and nearby attractions. The hotel was comfortable and well-maintained, making it a great place to stay while exploring the city. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting NYC.

On a positive note: Room was a great size and clean. Room attendant staff were wonderful. Things to improve on: Promptness of fixing issues. We reserved 2 rooms costing around $4800 or more not including extra fees and parking. A toilet was clogged. No one showed up until I called back around noon the following day. There was not enough staff to accommodate needs with the amount of people within the hotel. The luggage attendant never showed up to our room to pick up our luggage. We waited about 30 minutes then decided to take everything down ourselves because you can't just get a luggage rack. Arrival day the process of getting to the parking garage was absurd. We arrived in NYC around 2:40. My husband finally had to go through a barrier nearly 2 hours later to get to the hotel garage. The Hudson Market hours weren't great. The line for the restaurant each morning just to be able to get coffee was 30 plus minutes wait. Even though we had a "credit of $35" to use it was frustrating and time consuming. The meals were so high priced and not worth it. Also, for what we paid for the hotel, there should be complimentary coffee station. Multiple elevators were always broken down which caused wreck havoc when trying to get back to your room. Positive note what few employees they had they were friendly, but no one knew anything outside of what their station they were signed to was.

Good: Location Bad: Long check-in. Online checking doesn't work. Also, don't bother checking in early. You will need to line up again at 4pm and wait 1 to 1.5h. Hotel surcharges are interesting. Yes, in theory you get back what you paid via Hotel credit, but it's really a ploy to get you spend more. Yes, you can get free Starbucks coffee with your credit, but do you like waiting hour in the morning? Ugly: The plebs who stay in 20th floor and below gets 4 elevators, but 2 are broken during our 4 days there. When coming down, just take the stairs. if you are above 20th floor, you are more than fine, you have 6 elevators at your disposal.

We arrived at 1:00am at the hotel, the line to check in was a 2:30 hr wait. The lobby was cold and dirty, lots of people waiting. Finally after 2:30 hr wait they gave us a room with a Murphy bed, small and with no bed linen. The next two day the line in check-in was the same. Elevators so busy that had to wait almost 20 min each time we wanted to use them. One night we went to the lobby just to watch the end of a game, my husband and son ordered drinks, but the server told us that if I wanted to stay I had to order something, extremely rude. Rooms were clean, but the Murphy bed felt like a sofa bed.

The beds are amazingly comfy and the assigned elevator system was the best thing Ive seen in a long time. Rocketed you from lobby to your high floors without a bunch of stops. Location is the best for theater, Radio City and Rockefeller Center. That said, charging a fee for storing bags in a city like NYC is nuts. This is a basic hotel courtesy everywhere I have ever stayed. Fix that and my review would be 5 stars.

This was the most disappointing hotel experience I have had. The front desk staff was unhelpful and showed little concern for addressing issues. I did not receive the room I was originally promised, and I was informed at check-in that the hotel was sold out. At checkout, I was incorrectly charged an additional $300 with no explanation, which has required me to open a formal claim to recover the funds. The overall condition of the room was also below acceptable standards. The beds had an unpleasant odor, the air conditioner/heater system was extremely outdated and didnt work well. The television offered very limited channels—many of which had no audio. Additionally, there was no option to access streaming services such as Netflix or Disney+. My wife, son, and I were all dissatisfied with the quality of service and accommodations. Based on this experience, I would not consider staying at this hotel again
