I tried to reach out to management. Our first morning waking up, stepped into the bathroom and the floor was soaking wet with a leaking pipe. They put duct tape on the pipe??? The ceiling above the tub was black like mold all over it.

We booked 2 double beds. The beds are not double bed size. That’s false advertisement and was not a comfortable stay because we were 3 people. U really can’t share a bed with 2 people. I am suffering back pain because of this. I would not stay there. The staff in the bar were amazing. Front desk was not always friendly. It’s a busy location. I complained about the bed situation and left a message to the supervisor but have not heard back and probably won’t. The location does not justify the bad experience so I won’t stay there again. Also I got $300 extra charges that was not explained to me and will try to dispute. It’s not a cheap hotel and to get random $300 extra charge was not acceptable.

It was so dirty and there’s blood on the bedsheets. It was fresh blood. Bathroom was not clean. The whole room was dusty. I would assume that this hotel would be clean and welcoming due to its brand.

We arrived at 11:00 pm and our room was not ready! "Checked in" with one employee and was told to walk into Times Square for 30-40 minutes and they would call when it was ready. Returned around 1:00 am with 3 tired teenagers and no phone call. Waited in a line that grew longer as we waited. There was only ONE person working the desk for the non-elite guests. There seemed to be problem after problem as those ahead of us tried to check in. Eventually when it was our turn, he informed me that the previous employee (Alex) who initially checked us in, did not in fact check us in or reserve these requested rooms on same lower level floor. This was incredibly frustrating - and was no fault of Nyod (?) who was manning things on his own. He did get a manager who was able to accommodate one of our room requests, however we were unable to have our rooms on the same floor together, meaning the teenagers were going to be many floors away and separate elevator. AND at that time only one of the rooms was ready so all 5 of us piled in to a room that was a double until they delivered the keys for the second room. It was near 2 am before everyone was in their rooms. I understand that hotels tend to overbook, however the many problems others were experiencing, along with our own issues was very disappointing especially since our reservation was for the 26th and no rooms was ready for us on the 26th. Nyod was great- the first employee was caused us distress. No compensation offered.
