Everyday we felt well taken care of and the first priority of each staff member we encountered. I can’t believe how many negative reviews I read that had to be false. Not a single elevator issue, staff member issue, room was great, bed was comfortable, room was attended to each day, and the staff even tucked in my daughter and her friends build a bear each day while attending to the room.

This hotel elevator don’t work. When is a rush time they have bunch elevators and they stacks and the service real poor I have to literally go up and down for 14 floors .

Room was extremely dirty with dirt and garbage all over the place when we checked in. Even daily cleanings was not properly done and we were given dirty sheets and blankets with obvious stains on them. When we checked in on Jan 2nd, we waited for more than 4 HOURS, avoids this hotel

Well this is what happened so far. Check in started at 4 pm. I was in the hotel since 11 am. Waited pattienly but room was available at 10:30 pm. Full day lost. Room smell awufull asked for house keeping BUT no one was assigned to my aile. No one clean the room, so far 3 days no cleaning. I asked for towels in front desk, somebody leave towels in bathroom, other one leave towels in bed, no body pickup the dirty ones or trash. For 3th day in row, I notified the situation, no body showed. Notified about the stinky fridge, no body showed either. I have two other reservations, asked to change rooms, no availability but my son book one separatelly and there was one available for him. The elevators, other bad issues. For me this has been the worst lodging experience ever. We planned to stay longer but will move to The Manhattan Club. Sheraton administration sucks and no body seems to care.

1.) someone tried to enter our room at 2am. They even had a room key. Only the security latch prevented them entering. I asked management to check in on it. Never heard back from them. 2.) $40 charge upon check in? For what? Didn’t get a receipt for it. 3.) Hotel looks all good in photos but it’s a far cry from it. Quite run down, we could hear our neighbour snore. Messy, too much cluttery furniture in the room. I don’t think this hotel matches the corporate brand.

4th time at this property, location is the best. They are in the model of a revamping so super excited to see how it will look. Just needs a day bar for those not wanting to go out but have a drink in the hotel bar at lunchtime. Bar opens at 4.30 should open whe breakfast has finished .

I waited almost 2 hours in line to check in even though I had checked in earlier that day. She said she would call me when my room was ready. Never happened. Then the elevators were equally a nightmare to try to get on to go up or down. The whole stay was absurd. By the time you got an elevator to leave it was packed with people. I will never ever stay there again.

The staff was pleasant but my only complaint is that at 8:45 at night on my day of check in I was told my room wouldn’t be ready for another hour and a half! I said check in was at 4:00. After a day of walking around the city with my three kids it was not what we wanted to hear. Luckily they “found” me a room. Not sure why if they had a room to put us in, we had to do the rooms not ready song and dance. Seemed very unorganized and inefficient. Probably won’t stay again. Used to stay here all the time but it seems like it’s gone downhill a little bit.

Unfortunately, during our stay we lost a very valuable item that was kept inside my makeup bag. After housekeeping serviced the room, the item was missing. We never expected housekeeping to go through a personal makeup bag, which makes this situation very upsetting. We have searched thoroughly and are confident the item was not misplaced. Management should take this seriously, as guests expect privacy and trust in their rooms. We spoke to the housekeeper but denied taking the item.

I arrived at the hotel at about 130pm and saw a large cue for the front desk check in. I was in line for about 1 hr and a bit until i got to the desk and got served. Overall the hotel was okay. Convenient to our needs. I was very disappointed about the hotel not having coffee after 4pm at the hotel bar area. The whole area was apparently under renovation so not sure if this was the reason. We had asked for a kettle for the room but the desk said they don't have that so that was unfortunate. Overall the stay was okay for a quick stay in nyc.

My wife and daughter loved the stay. I was under the impression through my reservation that my card would be charged at the time of reservation. Through all receipts it says it was charged and the hotel charged the room total to my wife’s card used for incidentals.

I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. I visit NYC 2x year and have stayed in several hotels in the Times Square area and my experience at the Sheraton was by far the worst. Upon arrival I waited for 1hr 40m to check in to the hotel, the line was wrapped around the lobby. I did not want to start my vacation that way, nor did I have the time to waste on waiting in line. It significantly impacted our evening plans. Every time we needed to use the elevator it was a complete cluster. The elevators would often give you an error message and you could not call an elevator at all. In the lobby there would be a huge line at the elevators to go up to guest rooms. When needing to go down from our room on the 8th floor we could rarely get an elevator and would take the stairs. When we were checking out we obviously couldn't go down 8 flights of stairs with luggage so we had to use the employee elevator. I paid for a breakfast package with our room, however the line for breakfast was so long I had to give up waiting and get breakfast elsewhere. Who has time to wait 1hr or more for breakfast when on vacation in NYC? I lost out on the money I spent on food. On our day of check out we wanted to leave our bags in storage until we were ready to depart. Of course, that was another wait in line for 15-20 minutes. There was a fee to store bags, other hotels in the area offer this service for free without the wait. I have run out of characters & this isn't even half of it.

Was not a pleasant experience at all. The hotel is nothing like the pictures on Expedia. Very outdated, unwelcoming place. Our room was not clean, everything was dusty, there was an empty water bottle behind the nightstand when we first got in the room. The wind was blowing through the window cracks. Check in and out lines were super long all day, every day. It was an awful experience, will definitely never come back.

Ridiculous check in process, waited over 2+ hrs, line wrapped around lobby 3x. Makes for a bad start and cuts into vacation time. The elevators are quite slow, delays of 15+ minutes in lobby and room floors. To remain competitive, these issues are critical and need to be rectified.
