Responsible and responsive staff

The visit didn’t start well as I found myself in a room with multiple issues, including no wifi whatsoever. However, the staff were excellent and dealt with this in a very professional manner; whilst the manager ensured that everything was fully resolved without fuss. This made all the difference to my stay and I would stay here again. PS The beds are super comfortable!

The room itself was acceptable, but the bed was very uncomfortable and only had a thin quilt — no proper duvet. The windows were quite dirty, and the bathroom was in poor condition, with visible mold, rust, and loose fixtures. It was an accessible bathroom, which was fine, but the water barrier at the shower base was broken, causing flooding after every shower. We requested a refund through Expedia upon arrival to switch rooms, but it was denied. Expedia stated that the hotel declined the request, though I can’t be certain. What was most disappointing was that the hotel never reached out after the refund request to offer a room change or any assistance to improve our stay. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, especially considering the rate of over $400 per night.

Very good. Staff was friendly and the rooms in pretty good shape for a NY stay. That said, it is right at the entrance to Holland tunnel so between 6-12pm, traffic is backed up and loud with constant honking and people playing loud music, audible even when all windows are closed.

Awful hotel but great location

Some of the front desk employees were friendly, which is the only reason this place gets a second star. My room smelled like urine, it was disgusting. The carpet felt wet and the bathroom had black mold. The WiFi doesn’t work at all. Couldn’t even get an email to load.

The rooms left a lot to be desired. Do not resemble the photos. Quite frankly it's a bait and switch situation. The rooms are old and dated. There was mold on the wall in the bathroom. We had to change rooms because the air conditioning in the first room rattled and shaked... The second room the air conditioning didn't turn off. It is however, convenient to the trains... About a 3 minute walk to the Jackie Robinson Museum and a 7 minute walk to Ghostbusters Headquarters. The staff was nice and they hold your bags if you decide to venture out during the day.

Nice room in a great location. Staff is very friendly. Short walks to entertainment (comedy cellar), food, shopping, and close subway stations make it super easy to get anywhere in Manhattan in 20 minutes or less. A little congested on Watts does cause a fair amount of traffic noise at night until about 11 pm.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly and it was a great location! You get what you pay for! Our first room was damp and had a bad smell, but the staff quickly moved us. Our new room was totally fine. Very basic stay, but amazing location!

Clean, Friendly but amenities need updating.

Staff was helpful & room was clean. But the entire week, the wifi didn't work in the room which doesn't help when you're there for work. Gym was missing weights not helping trying to exercise.
