The hotel has wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Everyone from the doorman to the bartenders were great! But we had no shower the first 24 hrs. It broke. Eventually fixed but had to shower in the gym, 10 floors away. Not a great experience. But the hotel made it right and I cannot thank them enough.

This was the second time we stayed here. Our room was clean and quiet. This property is in walking distance to Grand Central Station which will take you anywhere you want to go. The staff was amazing and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

horrible dark rooms like a prison cell SUPER loud between hearing every door slam in the building to the AC/Fan unit making pounding noises every two hours throughout the night. 3 night stay and all the soap and shampoo ran out on the first night You cant just call front desk or bell, it routes to a call center that talks to front desk for you. Called to get help with my 4 luggage’s and ended up taking them down myself in two trips before anyone helped or even opened the door for me - bell guys a prick “Suite” with no microwave One small window that opens into an apartment’s kitchen One dim light in the room $7 for lobby coffee

Good location- close enough to Grand Central to be convenient and also far enough from Grand Central to feel safe. The room was comfortable. Windows but no view. We were on the backside so it was quiet. Nice staff.

Very nice hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They let me store my bags the first and last day, which was great. The hotel room was cozy and fairly spacious. I liked having hard floors instead of carpet because it was cleaner. The location is really great. It was close to grand central station, which made getting around the city very easy. I would not recommend staying any closer to Times Square because the closer you get, the busier and dirtier it gets. This struck a good balance between being close to the action without having to deal with the noise and grime. I’ll also note I did a lot of shopping around before settling on this hotel and the price here is very competitive compared to other nearby hotels. If I were returning to the city, I would stay here again and I recommend the hotel.

The staff was very helpful. The doormen were always helpful and courteous. We were in and out a lot and they were always very helpful getting my husband and his walker in and out of our taxis. We appreciate how caring they were.

Beautiful ideally placed hotel. If you're in New York you spend most of your time out doors, but this place had me enjoying inside as well. Beautifil lobby, room service, exceptional bellman, etc. If you want history, charm, in the hart of NYC this will not dissappoint. Highly recommended.
