I came into Newberry not knowing the town so I made this reservation. 1st impression was that the "pool" was empty and a blue tarp is draped in it, that was the start. Walked into the room and there are visible liquid stains on the wall and bed covers! I was tired from travelling all day so I decided to grin and bare it. Woke up to scratching in the room, I went into the bathroom and saw a RAT run into a hole in the air vent! I spent the rest of the early morning in the car i rented. I checked out in the AM requesting my money back since Expedia already charged my whole stay. I have not received that refund! And I was charged that first night stay!!! Horrible Horrible place, Do Not Book!

Would not stay here again. Was right on a very noisy road that kept it up all night. Not in good condition. Chain lock on door broken off. No fan in bathroom. Breakfast was awful and price was not that cheap.

Motel was dirty and musty. Flies on the ceiling and walls of my room when I first walked in. Check-in staff was unconcerned when I arrived, and was watching TV on her phone laying on a lobby chair. Was told they didn't have a king bed (which I reserved) and gave me two doubles instead. I'm a single person, what good is that going to do me? Pool was empty and dirty, and there was no parking available in lighted areas. Only in the dark back lot. Two cops came into the lobby separately while I was checking in looking for a wanted person. Oh, and they never checked my ID. I can't make this stuff up
