Lovely stay and would highly recommend.
Professional and friendly staff and lovely cocktails and dinner.
Will definitely come back.
The bedroom was amazing and the bath - to die for!
To explain what happened was the following which the manager of the night shift was aware of was the following.
We had checked in mid day to drop the bags in the hotel room to find we had not been provided toilet paper ,which was quickly solved when I spoke to the front desk , after this we went down to enjoy the wedding as normal.
When we finished the night we went back to the room to find the shower not working (Temperature would not change from cold) and the room full of harvest flies and insects .
This was due to the room windows all being left open , we then mentioned this to the night shift manager who moved us to room 23 to which the insect situation was exactly the same but the shower was working.
As this was at 1 am in the morning and no other room was available we had no choice to accept this.
We are not happy that we have paid £197.19 for a single night to barely have a good nights stay.
I emailed the manager and have been ignored so this review is the next step.
Its a beautiful place to stay, we were at a family wedding absolutely perfect, gardens were gorgous sun was shining...
Rooms are very unique beautiful, breakfast was lovely, staff so helpful...great place to stay !!!
We visited for a wedding in the adjoining Le petite chateau and had a wonderful day. All of the staff were polite, helpful and service was excellent. The wedding food and the breakfast were both delicious. Our room was a good size with a lovely walk in rainfall shower. My only slight disappointment was that the room was very dark despite 2 windows because they both faced onto a wall. It didn’t really matter to us because we literally only slept in it but I’d be unhappy if we were staying a few nights.
Definitely recommend.
We had an amazing anniversary stay at this beautiful, charming hotel.
We were greeted by welcoming, friendly staff upon arrival, and check in was quick and easy.
Our room was immaculate and impressively decorated. The bed was very comfortable, but the stand out feature was the tin bath - a real showstopper.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic night away.
Just spent two nights there for my son's wedding, what a fabulous chic place.
All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent hot food served at all meals we had including the breakfasts. Bathroom in our room (23) was unbelievably hot with a fabulous rain shower. Not cheap but worth every penny, 5*
