Location is great. A few minutes walk to the beach. There were a few issues with the flat itself though.Check in process was a mess. Didn't receive the email from the host with details of how to check in. We had to phone him to ask. Then had to walk to a local estate agents to pick up the keys. Very strange check in. I've never had to go and get the keys before when hiring a holiday apartment. The patio door didn't lock, luckily we were on the second floor so no massive security issues. The safe didn't work. No batteries in it. The host was responsive though and said he was going to send someone to fix the issues with the door and safe. We were only there two days, so can't say if that actually happened or not.Some issues with cleanliness. Dirty marks on several light switches. The bathroom needs a deep clean. Part of the shower silicon was completely black with mould.. Dirty tile grouting and build up of dirt in the corners of the room. The rest of the flat was nice and clean though.The decor is nice. Great colour choices. Some of the fittings were in poor condition. Tile in bathroom was damaged, looked like it had melted! Table in lounge very scruffy looking with scuff marks. The place needs some attention to bring it up to the standard expected of a holiday rental.Location was great. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, and the village centre with lots of shops.
