I stay at VRBOs 4 times a year. I have never had such a bad experience. On the 1st day, we got into the pent house with a secure code entering through the 2nd floor garage. The problems started with every time we went out to the beach we could not re-enter the building. I kept sending Ruben messages requesting the building code but he refused & told us to walk up through the garage & enter on the 3rd floor (because the main and 1st floor were also locked). There was no walkway in the garage so with blind spots for cars we did not feel safe. So we begged residents to let us in after waiting for long periods of time. Also on the 1st day we also encountered a primary bedroom with no electricity. No lights, no fans etc so I again reached out to Ruben who ignored me. On the second day, I spent 1.5 hours navigating VRBO bots to get to a live person to explain we were constantly locked out and 1 bedroom was not useable because it had no electricity. VRBO got Ruben on the line. Ruben was rude and hung up, so VRBO called him back. Ruben reluctantly agreed to send someone to fix the electricity but refused to give the code. Someone came & found the fuse box & fixed the electricity. He gave us the building code. Day 3 a child pooped in the indoor heated pool. I called building security to report the situation & left a message. We noticed the pool was not closed so I kept calling. We warned people to keep out of the pool. Buyer beware!!!
