Nice property. Good breakfast. Walkable to all sights in Nuuk. Bed comfortable but only one very thin pillow included and no black out blinds - not great in summer when the sun never sets in Greenland.

Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Also, a nice walk to the Greenland Natural History Museum which is very interesting. Rooms are a bit small, but are nice and very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

I was looking for a fairly priced hotel for my stay in Nuuk. HHE Express fit the bill perfectly. My room was on the top floor facing the mountain. The room was smaller than I thought, but I had not planned to spend much time in it anyway. Although, I do bring my preferred shampoo/conditioner/body wash, they did provide that. I loved that the location was within walkable distance of everything. The front desk staff were helpful when I needed information or the door unlocked after 9pm. The one complaint I have is that the room was very warm to me. Having the window helped somewhat. I I would there again!

I had high hopes about this place, but it didn't take long to realize it's still Europe and there is no such thing as capitalism, competition or customer service. Youpayan outrageous-sum for the non existent service and then they show up like militant soldiers at 10 AM Sharp to terrorize you into leaving, because unlike in any normal hotel, this place has a 10 AM check out time which they militantly and abusively enforce. I was actually so traumatized by the overly aggressive, militant attitude that I couldn't sleep well the second night worrying that their militant staff would show up again at 10 sharp and bang on my door. This is a combination of pure unadulterated Danish arrogance with the unfriendliness of the locals combined. I can now say I've seen Greenland and will never need to see it again. Their abusive attitude completely turned me off about Greenland altogether.

I wish there were room darkening blinds. I have seen them in other arctic areas including in Ilulissat. Also, there is no box of tissue (Kleenex). Hotel offered me a paper napkin saying, we are 3 star hotel, we don't have Kleenex in the room or at reception. I missed the breakfast for few mins (9 am on week day is bit early). I asked if not warm things, if they had bread or pastry and coffee. They said, no. We can sell you both but whatever was for breakfast is already thrown away. Not just saying no but how you say it makes a big difference. I was unhappy about the tone more than the answer of No.

Great staff. Very simple but it has everything you need. They don’t have a restaurant but there’s one behind the hotel. Breakfast was ok - nothing spectacular but it is good. Toiletry very limited though - I ran out of body wash during my stay, they haven’t replenished it when servicing the room. No hand towels. These shortcomings are minimal and don’t get in the way of a good review. It was my choice and I didn’t regret it.
