The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is a brand new five-star located in the heart of Namba which is only a fifteen walk of the shopping district of Dotonbori. The friendly staff at the reception desk always greets you with a smile and are willing to go that extra mile to get you checked in ASAP. Your bags are sent to your within minutes and before you know it, you’ve changed your clothes and are ready to see what the beautiful city of Osaka has to offer. If health and fitness is your thing, then visit the 4th floor where you’ll find free weights and machines to fit your soul’s health desires. And if you suffer a cramp or pulled muscle, check out Cenvaree Spa also located on the 4th floor too. Here you’ll be greeted by friendly staff members and tea. I chose the hour session and the price was affordable. In fact, the cost of my room for a five-star hotel was overall affordable. The size and cleanliness of my room by far the best I’ve stayed at. I’ll definitely be back in 2026!!!

Hotel location is perfect for a visit to Osaka, in between Umeda City and Dotonburi. Tons of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping close by. The hotel itself is large, clean, and has most of the amenities of other high-end hotels. I liked that our room was large and the queen bed was more than adequate for two of us. Having a mini-fridge made it easy to store snacks and drinks, and it is good to have an in-room Nespresso in a city where coffee shops are closed until 9 or 10. The best part was the large, high-pressured shower, and soaking tub. After walking like 10-15 miles a day, our feet and lower backs appreciated a warm soak. Only minor thing I wished for was vegan options at the breakfast buffet, I was basically eating fruit and rice for breakfast there.

We stayed here twice, on both ends of our trip. The hotel is excellent; the steakhouse on site is excellent. It is worth the extra money to be on the club floors with breakfast included. Skip the rooftop restaurant...the view is nice, the food not so much. The area around the hotel is very nice with an enormous multi-story shopping area nearby.

This hotel was very nice just very slow. It took the check in staff 30 mins to check us in which was odd. It also took forever for us to get our luggage’s after being checked in. The hotel is very nice, clean, great location and great rooftop bar.
