Beautiful hotel near Osaka Castle. About a 10 minute walk to main train station . Quiet area. Felt safe walking around the lake around the castle and the other streets at night.

This hotel isn't even a year old. Rooms are truly enormous by Japan standards. Bathrooms have wonderful deep tubs for soaking after long days sight-seeing. About a 7 minute walk from the train station. Found a couple of excellent local restaurants within a few blocks. Multiple convenience stores nearby. Steps from the beautiful Osaka Castle grounds. Staff was super nice and helpful getting our bags stored after checkout for pickup later in the day. Stay here!!

Beautiful views (my room was river side) and excellent service and amenities. On property breakfast option was great - we went between 7 and 7:30 and didnt find it too crowded. Easy walk to train station. Bit further out from dotonbori area but this meant it was nice and quiet with the exception of being able to hear the trains.

I was greeted by the friendly staff downstairs and sent to the elevator to be received by the reception desk located on the sixth floor. Check in was quick! The room was nice and clean. I’ll have to remember to reserve the Osaka Castle view on my next visit. I had the breakfast buffet which was an excellent! Hope to comeback soon in the near future.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic and very helpful! The rooms were spacious and clean. The bar staff were very accomodating and friendly. We had a great experience staying at the Double Tree Hotel!
