Inefficient front desk

Front desk is inefficient and not tourist friendly. Being in hospitality business means saying Hello and Have a nice day at the very least. Walls are thin and breakfast is adequate. No view. Nice clean room with extremely noise air conditioner.

the elevator is broken, so we have to carry our large suitcase to the 4th floor without any help from the hotel. What is even worse is that a random man open our room door suddenly at night. And the only thing the front desk could do is just saying "i'm so sorry". I wonder if they were really sorry about that. Terrible experience.

The hotel was nice, relatively clean overall, but had a lingering smell. We never could fully determine if just the smell of water system in Page or a sewer issue in the hotel itself. Was bad enough in our first room we changed second day. By day 3 our new room had a slight smell but nothing as bad as the first. Very loud - you could hear neighbors but more so the plumbing - every toilet flush sounded as though it was rushing through your room so would wake you if a light sleeper. Rooms were great size and beds comfortable. One of our TVs never could connect, the other worked fine.

Frig didn't work initially. Horrible smell in only elevator that worked & hallway. Not in room. Only elevator that worked stopped working on our moveout day. 8 pieces of luggage down 3 flights in our 70's. No staff to help. La Quinta is off our list forever
