The room was clean and the staff very nice. However, both the deadbolt on the door and the lock on the bathroom window didn’t work (my room was on the ground floor next to a gate). The parking lot was full and I had to park down the street away from the property, making it challenging to haul my luggage. It as very difficult to get any sleep due to people talking late into the night just outside my room, a barking dog in one of the rooms, and the security gate next to my room kept getting slammed shut loudly by other guests both late at night and early morning.

Room wasn’t refreshed once during our stay and restaurant didn’t open for breakfast, which was run of the reasons we picked it. Had to ask for clean towels. It was quiet and clean (when we first checked it). Also couldn’t get s check out later than noon.

This place served the purpose which was to stay overnight to have dinner with friends who live in the area. Maybe the cost should’ve tipped me off.The photos in the listing look way nicer than the actual place and give no indication that it’s right behind a strip mall on the main drag. It was clean enough, I suppose. Not enough parking for the number of cars and we had to park on the street the night we stayed there. The room is basic and bare bones. The pool looked nice and was clean. We didn’t eat in the café, but we heard it’s supposed to be pretty good. The hot tub was decent, but had a little too much suntan lotion left in it. The bed was just OK. Not enough blankets or covers. Bathroom was clean enough but needs a renovation as does the rest of the place. I would just say, underwhelmed and not impressed and pretty disappointed based on the description in the photos. But if you need a place to sleep on a budget when staying in Palm Desert for a day,, it won’t kill you to stay here. as a sidenote, our friend who stayed there once said if you can get one of the Casita rooms across the street, it’s much better. I will say that the staff we met was friendly and professional so there’s that.

This property was rated a 9.4/10 when we read the reviews they were positive but I didn't realize I needed to look farther in to the reviews. We checked in and looked at the room the curtains were torn and felt well worn! not what the pictures looked like. We tried to check out and they wouldn't let us. We didn't stay and recieved no refund for the week we booked. Beware look beond the pictures. I guess were expecting to much!
