Anniversary Trip

My husband and I booked this condo for our first anniversary trip. PROS: The condo itself was very clean, and had everything we could possibly need, which was greatly appreciated. CONS: The first night, he went to turn the shower and knob fell right off. We sent the owner a message. Thankfully we were able to put the knob where it’s supposed to go and turn it either direction. The parking is across the street in a large parking garage. From there, you have to go through two, sometimes three separate elevators to get where you need to go. The elevators… realistically there needs to be at minimum 6 elevators on each wing and in the center of the building. There were multiple times when we were waiting 20 minutes. On our way out this morning a man and wife in the elevator said they had to wait 45 minutes the night before, and shared the same frustrations that we’re wasting time on our vacation. And keep in mind, this unit is on the 18th floor. We were unable to stay on the balcony most times because of someone in another unit smoking marijuana and the wind blowing it to us. Which, I fully understand that the condo has no control over other units or people’s choices, this was just our unfortunate experience.

We loved our stay at Emerald Beach! Even as busy as it was, the elevators were never too bad of a wait. The condo itself was great. Well stocked with everything we needed. The king size bed was VERY comfortable. My son slept on the pull out and said it was pretty comfy, too.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed this condo very much. The property had a lot of amenities like great pools and hot tubs! Also, the Sky Bar was nice and convenient. Condo was very nice. The balcony was perfect! The only complaint I would have is the fans were very dusty. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

To start with it is a great location with a very good view right on the beach. It even comes with two beach chairs with an umbrella service on the beach. Two nice pools. The issue I had was I had to report three times about the toilet and they never fixed it and it would continuously run and just waste water and I shut off the water itself at night otherwise all you hear is the tank filling about every minute. They sent people out twice But they did nothing. There was not a top sheet on the master bed. The couch is not that comfortable. It is a long walk from the parking garage. And the elevators are terrible for a few days only one out of the four elevators worked on a 25 story building so you were off and waiting there for 5 to 10 minutes for an elevator

Housekeeping needs work

Overall a good experience. We did have a few issues with housekeeping; towels & sheets were left in the dryer / washer, plus dusting appeared to be nonexistent. Furniture could be upgraded and the TV in the main room had a long streak of dead pixels. Loved having the beach chairs included. Would def stay again.

A nice place to stay on the beach.

The unit was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed using the gas grills located on the property. With a little TLC, a few updates and living room furniture being replaced, this could be a five star unit.

Good times

Location was actually better then I expected. Very clean. Only issue no trash bags. Had to buy my own. Other than that provided soap, dish soap, laundry soap, pots, pans, glassware and everything you need for a week away from home.

THE VIEW!

This condo is the PERFECT location. The view is beyond gorgeous. The elevators are a little tricky in the resort, but nothing you can't figure out. Biggest tip, get down to the beach before 3 to claim your chairs - staff denied our included rental because it was too late in the day, but a totally different company from the owners. The owners were wonderful, prompt to any questions and the condo was above any expectations we had. We will be back for many years to come - it was a great experience.

Overall Good Vacation

We could not have asked for better weather and clearer water. Overall, the condo was good. There were a few hiccups along the way. First thing we encounter was the parking. We were not aware that the parking garage was across the street. Wasnt a huge issue, just kind of confusing. Second, they were having some water issues so the water was on and off some. Nothing to crazy just annoying. Third, they provided towels but no washcloths. Once again a easy fix just not prepared. Finally, communication. With the local representative was none. She sent me an email the day of check-in asking how things were going. I sent here 1 positive email and 2 other emails the same day asking questions about things not being the way we were told they would be, only 1 parking pass instead of 2 as an example. Granted the emails were sent after hours on Monday but she never responded the whole time we were there to our questions. I sent her another email this morning upon check-out about a few issue in the condo they might want to be aware of before next guest arrives, i.e. seal on the balcony door was no longer on the door but on the ground and the water issue. I recieved a reply with a simple thanks for letting us know. She never once acknowledged my other emails. As far as the actual rental company goes, the emails your receive from them come from a non-reply account. You can't just walk down to the Emerald Beach desk and ask questions about the unit because they dont actually manage this unit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and nothing in the condo caused us to have a bad experience. Just some simple issues that could have been resolved with good quick communication.

Family Vacation #win

We really enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The ocean view was spectacular. We were able to look down on the water and see stingray swimming in the water. How cool is that? The condo was clean and ready to go when we got there. Everything we could have needed was provided. There were also three beach chairs provided as well. The pictures portray exactly what you will find when you arrive. The elevators were quick so we never felt like it was a long trek down to the beach either. Even though we arrived early, our code worked and we were able to get situated without any hassle with a check-in counter. If I had to pick something that was less than excellent, it would be the walk from the parking garage to the condo. You have to walk farther to get to the facility. However, we found we overcame this with the suitcase carts. All in all, we would love to stay in this exact unit again next time. Thank you so much!

Good Location

The location of the building was magnificent. This specific condo was too close to the elevators. They could be heard night and day. This condo also needs some minor TLC. Overall it was clean and comfortable but the batteries in all the TV remote controls were dead. I had to mix and match them from different devices to get some that worked to turn on and watch the TV's. Also the light bulbs were burned out on the lamps beside the sofa. There were no extra bulbs to replace them. The beach was beautiful as was the view from the balcony. I would stay in the building again, but probably not in this specific condo.
