Overall a great place and in a great location. Amenities are nice! Pavilion, Grill, Huge Pool, Hot Tub. Relaxing atmosphere at night. Now for the bad…We checked in around 11pm, and called that morning to request a top floor room as I had called earlier in the week to request and the gentleman told me that a room could be assigned to us the day that we check in. The lady that was working was very rude and not personable at all. (Can’t remember her name) but girl, if you hate your job, just say that! “Manager” on duty, Jimi was also very rude as we were 2 female adults and a female child who had just driven 7 hours, and did not want to have to carry luggage to our room. We requested a cart and Jimi “went on a search” for one..to come back 10 minutes later and just say “sorry we have had a lot of people check in today” okay, what’s the point? There should be carts available at all times in case of emergencies or handicapped guests checking in. The second night we were there we went down to the lobby for ice cream. There was a line at the counter for check in, which is understandable, but we were never even acknowledged and as the woman on second shifts line died, she proceeded to look down at her phone after many instances of eye contact with me and her telling us she would be right there. I then had to go back to the desk and tell the mgr that we wanted ice cream..we finally got it after standing there for about 30 minutes. I could go on..but I won’t.

Great location. Only complaints I have is that they need automatic doors (hard to get luggage in), terrible toliet paper, and the lights weren’t working in the parking lot. Easy access to beach, pool was nice, and not crowded at all were some pluses.

We booked on spur of the moment and the beachside hotel was full, so they placed us across the street from the hotel. Which is a motel type dwelling. The parking area filled quite quickly after dusk and the area we had to park in was dark and a bit creepy. Room wasn’t very clean or kept. The cost was appropriate for the room though . We did appreciate that there was a pool inside the area across the street although we didn’t swim in it. We came to be at the beach and that’s where we went. Clean towels were a bit difficult to obtain because the housekeeper didn’t speak English and our refrigerator smelled really bad like someone had left food in it for a long while and it had gotten hot. The staff was very kind though. Overall it was fairly pleasant even with the slight inconveniences. I would prefer it to have been a little cleaner and less dated with possibly a few more amenities like a stovetop or something to cook a small meal. Overall we still enjoyed our trip. Decent budget friendly accommodations I guess.

Very clean and helpful front desk staff, for the most part. They would only come in our room to take the trash out and our towels. We shower daily and were only given 4 towels for 2 people- new ones not provided after taking the used ones. No new sheets for the entire stay either. Was charged $45 for a ‘resort fee’ when checking out even though it was already paid when booking online with Expedia.

The place is very run down. We had to put an additional $50 per room per night deposit to make sure we didnt trash the room. Are you kidding 😳 i askes for a late check out. Was told no. My hotel was across the street from beach. Room was clean there was not a phone in room that was odd to me but have no complaints about my stay would stay there again. Had access to indoor pool and hot pool.

If you're low maintenance- this would be great. TVs are old and small. Beds are uncomfy AF. But super big hotel room and close to the beach. No breakfast in the mornings so that sucked. But coffee was good.

I would recommend considering a different place to stay. While the location is great, the hotel needs some serious improvements. Rooms need new beds, some new pillows likely the sight of a vacuum and the overall cleanliness needs to be addressed. It's unfortunate that the cost to stay here is substantial and should reflect a much better condition for price. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to stay especially for the money you'll pay for this mess.
