Quirky and cool but…

It’s a fantastic quirky hotel. Maybe a little pretentious but I liked it. Especially for its location. I am not sure I was given the extra large room that I booked though. And the shower was Luke warm at best, The corridors leading to rooms are a little claustrophobic

Quirky, friendly and fun in an awesome location

We spent a lovely week here. Hotel staff were great and accommodated us showing up an hour early. The decor is wildly quirky - I felt like I was in the Red Room from Twin Peaks for a bit - but the longer we stayed the more it became clear that there was real thought and care put into all of it, and it tied in nicely to the surrounding neighbourhood and its people. A coffee table book commissioned by the hotel shared stories of the area and helped give a deeper sense of the place. Everything was set up in a fun way, right down to the rotary dial phone. The bed was comfy and the wifi was quick and reliable. Location can't be beat, you're steps to transit connections to anywhere you could want to travel in or outside the country. Great restaurants at all price points nearby. Street-facing rooms have some noise - it's Europe's busiest rail station after all - but surprisingly peaceful most of the night. There are some quirks you might not like - USB chargers only on one side of the bed, bathroom light can't be turned on without turning light on in the room, shower has little privacy and can be seen from the bed (IDK maybe that's a selling point for you!), but I loved my stay here and would 100% come back, or stay with this chain in other cities in the future.

Pros: Spacious room (by Parisian standards) with a balcony, easy and enjoyable communication with staff (via the door-hanging booklet), great location, and good cleanliness. Cons: Drying and allergy-prone shampoo and soap, no conditioner, no kettle or coffee machine, and the restaurant does not offer room service.

This is a great hotel. The pillow was so comfortable that my two-month-old neck cramp went all the way away. No joke. It’s clean, it’s hip, it’s in an old gorgeous building, the staff are amazingly kind and helpful - Maude was only one shining star in the galaxy at 25hours hotel, but she may have been Sirius. I am sorry I didn’t have time to check out the restaurant or the DJ. Thank you!

A great place to stay

Excellent location, recently refurbished hotel in front of Gare du Nord train and métro station. Staff is friendly although we struggled with check-in (our request to be spoken to about the reasons for the delay was ignored in a very Paris Ian way). The room was impeccably clean, and the mattress and duvet so comfy. Bathroom was good size and very clean with strong water pressure in the shower cabin. All in all, a great stay given the inevitable Parisian staff experience :-)

Lovely helpful staff. Welcoming and polite. The room was attractive and the bed very comfortable. The shower and lavatory were poorly positioned, right next to the bed. Allowing for very little privacy, if sharing a room. Good ambient lighting but no focused bright lighting in bathroom area, therefore difficult to apply makeup, etc.

The decor of the room is unique. we have stayed here a few times and the Indian vegetarian options around the area is a great. Very busy during the day and evening but Sacre Coeur can be walked from here. Extremely convenient for Gard De Nord.

This is a fine hotel next to the train station which does its job if Eurostar is your next step. However, the area around is awful and you are best choosing another location in a better area of the city if you plan to stay to visit Paris itself. Not an area for a lone female.
