We had a very nice stay at the La Quinta Inn in Mesa, AZ. The room was very nice. The Breakfast was great in the morning, hard boil eggs, fried eggs and waffles. The staff was all very nice and parking was easy

It is in a very quiet part of the town, we felt very safe. There are a few restaurants and fast food choices within a 10 minute walk. Our room wasn’t the cleanest and they only made up our room once. Breakfast was good, they had cereal, fruit, eggs, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee, waffles etc. overall we liked our stay, and will choose this hotel again.

Be Ready if you're gonna stay here....

My family and I stayed here on a short trip for spring training. The hotel is old, pretty run down. The elevator is slow, rooms are outdated (beds sunk when you lay down) and free breakfast isn't much but fruit, coffee, cereal everyday. We went to the pool and the chairs were all broken and towels provided were so thin and small, it could barely be used for our 1 year old son. I am convinced these rave reviews were fake.

The front desk and housekeepers were very nice and helpful. The building has substantial deferred maintenance. Paint, clean the carpets, wash the windows would be a great help. In addition, the doors to the outside/parking lot are never locked. Anyone could walk in and roam the halls at anytime day or night.

The door striker was broken, the elevators were in poor condition, the shower drain wouldn’t drain, and we had a cockroach crawl on us.

When we first arrived we were impressed by the appearance of this hotel. It’s quite attractive with a beautiful pool (we didn’t get a chance to use it). But during our brief stay we experienced the following 1. A cockroach in the restroom; 2. The bathtub faucet ran incessantly; 3. Trash left in the hallways bagged (and not) for several hours; 4. Being awakened very early by our neighbors in the adjoining room due to thin walls. Given the price point and the La Quinta brands we expected more.

Weather was nice but the toilet was clogged basically when we got there. Calling down at the front desk all they gave us was a plunger which did not help. Had to go down to the lobby to use the bathroom for the trip was unpleasant and the bathroom smelled because of backed up sewage. Luckily we showered just before it backed up. Cracks in the tub and sink also seem unhygienic. Bed was at least comfortable but for around 160 dollars I would prefer a bathroom that didn't have sewage backing up in it.

Avery good stay.

This is a great hotel. Service, condition, cleanliness was very good. Would like to see replacing double beds with queens. Most other hotels, incl LaQinta have double rooms with queen beds.
