Not sure what restaurants were around but we found a coop nearby that had ready to eat foods. About 10 min walk from train station. Didn’t like the arrangement with the bathroom with partially transparent glass and no place to change clothes

Value for money place to sleep

Room was exactly as required for sleeping, very clean, well organised, with a good shower. Evribuddies worked prefectly. The only improvement would have been more sockets for charging devices - free was only one socket in the whole double room.

The space is extremely tight — barely enough room to move around with a suitcase. But what really surprised me was the shower situation: it’s literally in the middle of the room, with only a frosted glass door separating it from the sleeping area. There’s no real privacy at all, which makes it uncomfortable even for solo travelers — and especially awkward if you’re sharing the room with someone. The sink is also outside the bathroom, next to the bed, and the toilet is in a small separate cubicle. It felt more like a hostel setup than a hotel room. To be fair, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location is great — close to tram lines and easy to reach from the main train station. But the lack of personal space and privacy really affected my comfort during the stay. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again unless I was traveling alone and only needed a quick overnight stop with no expectations for comfort or normal bathroom facilities.

Not worth it for $250 per day.. very very small room, no good bathroom ventilation, it’s like a Jail cell. No privacy.. but good location, very safe and clean..

The rooms feel like you're in a hospital. A single flat pillow per person is about the width of a folded towel. Bunk beds only rated for 100kg. Check in staff was nice. No phones in the rooms, front desk will promise things and then not only not deliver but not tell you they gave up on helping you. Don't ask for towels, you will only get attitude

The room was very small, with no wardrobe and no mini fridge. There was also no telephone in the room to contact the reception, which was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was the same every day — mainly eggs, smoked turkey, and salami, with no variety. The only positive aspect is the hotel’s location, which is very close to the tram stop, making it easy to reach the train station.

Very handy location to the train station and public transport network as there is a tram stop outside the hotel. We stayed here for the women's euros and could walk to letzigrande stadium.

Just like its name "Budget"

I shouldn't expect much since everything is expensive in Switzerland, and Ibis was in our budget range. But for almost $300 per night, we would expect a little more. The room is small, no space to move, and there is no character. It's like a box, the bed is literally 1 foot from the shower and bathroom. Feel like you are in an upgraded prison cell. Good thing bed linens and bathroom are clean, and we purposedly go back to hotel late just to sleep
