We enjoyed the hotel very much. Stylish room and nice amenities. Perfect location. We were here for Thanksgiving weekend. The only bummer of the trip was the Thanksgiving Buffet. Meh food, served in what felt like the community room in an assisted living home. That gripe aside, we enjoyed our stay and would return to this property without hesitation.

Lovely old hotel in the heart of Portland. Loved the pantry, the staff were friendly and our room was quiet and comfortable. We got a great price from Hotels.com. We would love to stay here again but the normal rate is too steep for us.

We were only here 1 night, but our room was clean and cozy. We walked right down the street for dinner at $3 Deweys and had a great time! We used our destination fee credit to have breakfast delivered and were thourouly dissapointed. I took one bite and knew something was not right, the potatoes were fried in rancid grease and inedibile. My husband had an omlet that was at least edibile but nothing special.

Hotel is so centrally located, you can't beat it. The bar is welcoming and perfect to play cards near the fireplace. Have stayed here a couple times now, and it's the new favorite. Parking is convenient, but a bit pricey at $45/night - but worth the access. Staff are kind and accommodating, rooms are clean and updated.
