The stay started out rough. On arrival, we were informed that we had not signed up for All-inclusive. So either Expedia, Hotel or myself misread ad. So we decided to try the All-Inc day by day. We did it for a day and chose to go ala carte. But then were told because we confirmed when our leaving date was that we also confirmed the 300$ a day expense for our entire stay. I completed the Expedia check in review and suddenly got movement on our ala carte issue. In the end we are satisfied, not over joyed with the trip but enjoyed aspects of it.

The location is great, with lots of places to walk to, but not as crazy and loud as the romatic zone (but thats within walking distance too!) The staff was helpful, friendly, and attentive. The only downside we found is that the pool closes at 7 pm.

The staff and service were lovely. The hotel itself was disappointing. Our room was dated and furnished in a way that I would not expect from a luxury hotel. The room had no view, and was situated next to housekeeping and maintenance closets that were used from early morning to late at night. Despite the great service, there's no way I would choose to stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was great. Very high quality in basically every way. Professional staff and great service all around. It has a non all inclusive option for those that don't want to just stay in the hotel the whole time. Its located in a great area roughly in the middle of Puerto Vallarta for those that want to explore the city like I did. I would have no issue staying here again.
