Parking was hit and miss. Definitely missed a few times they could use a couple more spots. Don’t do the breakfast but we stayed with our 3 kids 10 and under. It was nice, clean and neighborhood is fantastic.

Cozy stay with great location

Loved staying at Sunna Guesthouse. It was very conveniently located a few steps from bus stop 8. I had a view of the cathedral, which was magnificent. So close to great streets for sightseeing, and brilliant and helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. Highly recommend.

We accidentally checked the "poor" box, when we meant to check "excellent." DUH! We stayed here for five nights and loved it. The staff was amazing—extremely pleasant and helpful, always taking time to answer our questions. We found one woman (the Manager, we think) to be so gracious and accommodating. For example, we asked for two extra pillows and they were delivered in 30 seconds! Our room was on the ground floor, and it was so quiet and private and within a few feet of the free parking which was another asset provided by Sunna. The beds were perfect, especially the down comforters. We couldn’t get the TV going but we never asked for assistance. After all, why watch TV when in Iceland??? It makes much more sense to roam the streets and pet the kitties of Reykjavik! And there is not a better location: within a stone’s throw of the iconic Lutheran Cathedral and all the good shops and restaurants in the downtown area. We’ll definitely be back!

The room is clean and self sufficient. Very convenient to walking to the city center. It was a little tricky getting into the guest house because it was not clear that there are two buttons to access the door. After traveling for eighteen hours, we were not at our best and did not make the connection. Once we figured that out, it all made sense. The guest house was easy to find - all you need to do is look up to find the large church and start walking up.

The property was extremely clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It's in an excellent location to walk to the historical church and the shops and restaurants. It was easy access to drive from the airport. I would stay here again if I get the opportunity to visit Iceland.

Great experience. Loved the location, was able to walk everywhere. Plenty of shops nearby and great restaurants. Don't miss the thrift shops.

We appreciated being allowed to store gratis our 4 suitcases when we arrived @ 0900 but could not officially check in until 3 PM -- an elevator would have made getting the bags to & from our 3rd floor room easier. Breakfast was good & reception staff helpful in several ways

Location was fabulous and I could walk everywhere. It was close to wonderful restaurants and shops as well as a bus stop. The room was spotless and the bedding of high quality. I had a lovely view, but was offered to be on a lower floor if stairs would be difficult. Glad I took the view room, which was very quiet.
