There were bugs crawling everywhere in the room. So I had to go down to the reception to request another room. I had driven 200 miles and it was 8 pm when as tired as I was I also had to deal with the bug issue. Also no elevator makes it very difficult for an older person like myself to carry my bags etc This hotel is way lower than my expectations considering $738 or so for 5 nights stay! For that amount one expects a better, cleaner, bug free room and better amenities. I'll have to look for alternate accommodations but am not sure if I would be able to find any other place at such a short notice! Also the front desk person checking me in, did not mention the Kadlec Hospital corporate rate, as if they would have, it could have saved me $200 plus. Another front desk person Susan was very unprofessional and rude when I requested the corporate rate information. Not staying here ever again!

Horrible stay

Checked into hotel dropped bags in room then ran out for a dinner with associates. When I got back to room went into bathroom and to my disgusting surprise, realized that my toilet was backed up with feces. I immediately contacted the front desk only to be told that they would send a plunger up for me to plunge my own disgusting toilet. So here I was 8 o’clock at night trying to plunge and unclog my toilet, which never opened up, so I ended up using it clogged.

Bed very comfortable. Felt like the toilet might fall over. Bathroom needs a little help, partially renovated. Pool was awesome, a little more debris in it than ideal. We would stay again.

It was ok

Pros: Friendly Staff, awesome pool and games, air conditioned room and comfortable beds, retro vibes, pet friendly and right on the river Cons: Dirty floors (found old chewed up gum stuck in floor next to bed), bathroom and shower not clean, room smelled like old cigarette smoke, very sparse continental breakfast… For just $20 more we could have stayed at a nearby, updated and clean hotel (which we usually stay at, but wanted to give this one a try) Price just didn’t make sense for what we got.
