Ok stay

Stay was good value. Bed sheets weren't changed between stays because between both rooms that we rented both beds had hair in them when both couples went to bed

Property was in a decent location. The parking was well lit. That was the good. The bad, the room smelled of smoke and the floor was dirty and sticky. Bathroom floor was the same and shower/bath stained. Walls in entire place dirty. The smell of pot was evident inside and out. A neighbor was arguing when we arrived later that evening and continued in the parking lot. Unfortunately, some of this is the sign of the times and being a extended stay location. I would say management/ownership is very aware of the situation but the demand is outweighing the supply and time to renovate and enforce their policies. I told my wife when we arrived to check in, "We may have made a bad decision, the entrance doors are filthy."

Cleanliness Standards Were Not Met—Had to Leave

I booked a stay at Extended Stay America – North Chesterfield Arboretum through Hotels.com and was placed in Room 230. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and emotionally distressing. Upon settling in, I noticed long strands of black hair in the sink and tub of the first bathroom. It was unsettling, but I tried to remain calm. Later, I went to use the second bathroom and found more hair there as well. This wasn’t just gross—it was overwhelming and triggered an anxiety attack. I no longer felt safe or comfortable in the room. It was late at night, and I was too anxious and exhausted to go downstairs and risk being brushed off or placed in another unclean room. I ended up leaving the property and sitting in my car for the night—exhausted, frustrated, and feeling like my money had been completely wasted. This was a disheartening experience, especially since I trusted Hotels.com to connect me with a clean and comfortable place to stay. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision and encourages the property to take cleanliness more seriously.

Stay Away from Extended Stay

The room was not as advertised. It advertised a queen bed, but only had full size beds as queens. The first room I was offered had a dirty cup with a paint rag and dirty gloves in it, with a full size bed for a queen. The second room was also a full size bed, they said was a queen. He talked to the manager and was going to give me a room with 2 bed or a larger bed for and extra charge. I told them that they were doing false advertisement with advertising queen bed, but only had full size bed for queen. I had to ask to speak to the manager, who was not on the premises. She said that corporate made the decision on the size of the beds and that was what they chose as queen beds. After we talked, and I let her know they were doing false advertisement, she said the only thing she could do was give me a bigger bed at no extra cost, which they were going to try an charge extra for initially when the conversation started. The bed I finally got was queen that the clerk said was a king and it was not a king. The bathroom for that room was dirty and there was a pipe, not tapped off, that when you turn the shower on, water came out of that pipe into the tub. This hotel should never, in my opinion, be offered on any website, except their own, as a hotel to be booked. This was the second horrible hotel I have stayed in in my 30+ years of staying in hotels. Never again at this on for me.
