Very helpful staff, easy checkin. Spa was pleasant; note that you need to reserve a time as it is your private area for 45 minutes. Grounds were well kept, room was clean. Bed was comfortable and shower was amazing (and I loved the shampoo). Hotel is a bit dated, but lovely nonetheless. Airport shuttle is 8 €pp, but it ran on time and took less than 15 minutes to get to the airport. Taxi is around 35€ (beware of non licensed taxis who will charge much more). We ate at Primopiano. Very attentive wait staff and good food.

As is so often in the case, the people make the difference! The staff at this hotel and its accompanying restaurant are above par and so welcoming and accommodating. You should know that the hotel is on the marina as it says, but that means that it is quite out of the way and not a cheap Uber from the airport luckily the hotel does offer a shuttle system which we used to get to the airport The accompanying restaurant staff, especially the bartender are absolute gems and made this out of the way airport hotel a great last stop in Rome. Thanks so much!

This property was a gem! It’s close to the airport and it’s absolutely beautiful!!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us! The restaurant on the property Gina was amazing! Anything you want or need they will do for you!! What a great place!! I will definitely stay here again!

This was a great find! Rooms are up stairs but they will help with luggage if you want (and it was just one flight). Place is beautiful, restaurant was delicious, room includes private 45 minutes in the sauna/spa, and everyone was so nice. Shuttle to the airport in the morning (8 euros per person) made this the most convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel! All the amenities you need. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Comfortable king size bed Room had a balcony that overlooked the grounds, pool and marina. Convenient parking near our room. Shuttle service to the airport. Included breakfast was amazing! Staff was awesome. Natasha, Jessica and Francesca were amazing! Help us with logistics of traveling around Rome as well as mapping sites to visit. This was one of our favorite hotels on our 19 day Italy trip.

Porto Romano is an interesting property, right by the Tiber riverside. One woukld have to drive some to see the surrounding area.

Room was good, no fan in bathroom. Breakfast was ok, staff at restaurant was not very welcoming. Was charged extra $ for accidental miss count on guests, Expedia must have reset count to 1 when I booked and I didn’t notice until I arrived, front desk said it would be additional $60 charge…then brought down to $30…even though room was same room (they did have to make pull out bed is all). Also be aware of that there are extra charges for tourist tax…not included in price here or disclosed on Expedia.
