The room was nice but very basic, the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable for the children to sleep on and having the sofa turned into a bed it didn’t leave anywhere else for us to sit comfortably. The food in the restaurant was okay, not worth the prices they were asking but I guess this is expected at a place like this. The reindeer ride wasn’t what we thought it would but the kids love it so that’s the main thing. I would highly recommend visiting Santa’s pets, it seems a bit pricey to get in but you have access all day, so we went back when it started to get dark and enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the fire pits and cooking hotdogs, all of which can be purchased from the kiosk where you enter and surprisingly cheap compared to the rest of the holiday village. Overall the staff were nice, the breakfast was good but I’d recommend eating at the services across the road (better value for money). I would suggest hiring a car as we did, it gave much more freedom and made the excursions much cheaper. But please avoid Green Motion, they have scammed us out of the deposit (check their reviews on Trustpilot, I wish we had).
We’d like to go back but early in the year when the snow more likely to have settled 🎅
