Le Mas des Marbres Sauvages, a former wine-growing property, on the edge of the village overlooking the countryside and Mount Canigou, offers you its Maison de Maître. A 1930 house restored "in its original condition" of 250 m2. We have kept the soul of the place and its "family home" spirit.

The Art Deco decoration: the marble fireplaces, the concrete tile floors painted in the mass, with different and unique patterns in each room, the wallpapers artistically highlighted, are all original. Rare and exceptional.

The House offers large spaces, ceiling height of 3 m, freshness, comfort and relaxation in all seasons. With 7 bedrooms for 14 to 17 people, you will be at ease even with several families.

The House overlooks the old 2 hectare wine estate, now a wooded park. Its terrace is equipped with a huge marble table, in the shade of the plane trees and a plancha, for your meals taken outside. Located within the inner courtyard: shaped into a Zen garden and planted with olive trees.

The view from the 1st floor is panoramic over the park and the top of Canigou.

From the inner courtyard, you have access to the park. Under the largest and oldest willow tree on the property, lounge chairs and hammocks-swings await you. From July to August, a large above-ground swimming pool is at your disposal. The village beach is only 3 km, 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike. The car parks are spacious and free and the village of Sainte Marie, as well as the entire region, offers many cycle paths. The car, too, can take a vacation.

You will be close to the sea to enjoy this beautiful region, walks or bike rides.

The Maison de Maître is on 2 levels:

Entering through a large door, then 3 steps, the house unfolds in front of you:
- A 50 m² living-dining room,
- An independent, equipped kitchen: electric stove with oven, microwave, electric coffee maker and kettle, fridge freezer, dishwasher, etc.
- The 1st “Cupidon” parental suite of 30 m²: 1 double bed 140, 1 single bed 90 and a child bed. Shower and sink.
- 1 independent WC
The beautiful staircase with its wooden banister takes you gracefully to the 1st floor:
- The 30 m² library room: equipped with a 160 bed and a 90 single bed. A breathtaking view of the park, the Canigou and the setting sun. (CD player, retro record player and many books). Possibility of dividing the double bed into 2 single beds.

- The 20 m² "Fuchsia" bedroom with decorative fireplace, large period wardrobe and 1 double bed 140 and 1 bed 90, period tiles and wallpaper, very bright.

- The "Japanese" bedroom of 12 m2, 2 single beds 90, decorative fireplace, tiling and period wallpaper.

- The second parental suite "Capucine" of 15 m², 1 double bed 140, with decorative marble fireplace, tiling and period wallpaper and its bathroom with a black marble shower, 1 sink and WC.

- The "Turquin" room of 20 m², 1 "small" double bed 120 and 1 single bed 90, with decorative marble fireplace, overlooking the park and enjoying the magnificent sunset. The wardrobe, the bed frames, the floor and period wallpaper.

- The 10 m² "de la Tour" bedroom, 3 single beds 90, adjoining dressing room, overlooking the park. Its floor is period, its walls are white.

- A large bathroom of 20 m² with a bath, a shower, a sink and a toilet. The floor is period, the marble shower, an old-fashioned dressing table ...

- Independent WC and washing machine.

The private swimming pool, above ground of 10 m2, is installed in July and August.
The property is made up of the Maison de Maître and its Barn. The entire area can be rented for festive events (excluding health restrictions). You can find us on our site "Mas des Marbres Sauvages".

Apart from the option where you would have rented the estate, you're asked to respect the tranquility of the place and avoid any noise at night.

The beds are made before your arrival according to the composition of your group and your wishes in terms of distribution in the rooms. The house offers a total of 14 beds (9 single beds, 4 double beds 140 and 1 bed 120).

Towels and toiletries are not provided. If you wish, a set of 2 towels and shower gel is offered at a price of 5 € per person. Ask us before your arrival. However, in this time of strengthening health standards, it seems to us that these intimate products are safer if they are personal to you.


All types of shops are close: 400 m from the bakery, 600 m from the village center, the "Gubbi" restaurant run by a team of young people and former rugby players, a must-see with its terrace in the shade of the plane trees and mulberry trees. these plates as delicious as they are plentiful. On the village square, a producers' market is present every Saturday (more often in summer).
Wines from the Roussillon vineyards are offered by Cellier Dom Brial, in the center of the village. It is also possible to buy directly from producers, for example at Mas Durand on the edge of the neighboring village.
On the road to the beach, a super Utile and a Casino supermarket. All the other supermarket signs are also present in the surrounding villages.
