Very poor holiday inn for families

Hotel was absolutely filthy the bedding had a smell of foist, the bathroom was disgustingly unclean and I’m usually not one to complain, the water had bits coming from the taps, mould, excessive dust everywhere it was appauling and we usually love a holiday inn. Breakfast was so busy they weren’t cooking food properly it was part done, knives and forks dirty with dried food on. Only plus side was lovely reception staff who were understanding when I complained and the location

We stayed for 19 nights Jan- Feb 2025. The hotel is in a safe convenient location, a short walk to the Salford Quays tram stop. The staff were all super nice and helpful. The morning breakfast buffet was good with eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrown, beans and tomatoes. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk to Old Trafford. We would stay again!

Good Value

Stayed for a night football match at Old Trafford. Previously have always stayed at Premier Inns but when looking for this match saw Holiday Inn Express at a good price so decided to try it. So glad we did, very impressed with the hotel, staff etc. Will definately look at stopping again on match nights.

Comfortable Weekend Stay

Perfect location for the IWM North and Coronation Street Experience. Lots of good restaurants nearby and with easy level walking distance. Car park was convenient and reasonably priced. Superior king on 6th floor had good views and very comfy bed and pillow menu. Shower was spacious and powerful. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality.All in all a comfortable stay. Only downside was one of the two lifts wasn't operational meaning a bit of a wait during busy times.
