Room was with beautiful ocean view, clean and comfy. The resort staff is very friendly.The options of food were great. The beach is beautiful and very clean. There were lots of corrals not far from the beach for nice snorkeling. However, I suggest to wear special costumes. In some places waters are shallow, and there are lots of sea urchins. Great place for kids. Amazing excursions!

This cozy resort is beautifully tucked between the lush mountains of Samaná and the stunning shores of Las Galeras Beach. The rooms, grounds, and pool areas were all well maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The buffet could benefit from more variety, especially for guests staying multiple days. Likewise, the bars would be more appealing if they featured a broader selection of well-known liquors and highlighted more of the exceptional local rum brands—some of which truly rival the best. Staff were consistently friendly and attentive, adding a warm touch to the overall experience. If I could rate it 3.5 stars, I would. Since that’s not an option, I settled on 3—but with just a few thoughtful upgrades, this property could easily reach 4.5 stars. It clearly has great bones, and like many places still recovering post-pandemic, a little investment could go a long way.

The toilet did not looked clean when we got there, I never mentioned it. They don’t have after hour food, so if you’re hungry yes you would have to go outside. The water was out for hours on the day we were leaving. Didn’t really have night entertainment like other resorts. It’s a little outdated for its cost.
